Ephedrine Crash

Whenever me dog eats any ephedrine, he crashes like 3 hours afterwards.
He'll feel really tired and go to sleep, but he wakes up when there's a lot of noise, and he told me that it seems like there's some kind of really loud noise or fight going on, but they're really being quiet. He gets REALLY disoriented and sleeps for massive amounts of time. He also feels sick and has a headache.

Does anyone else feel this way after ephedrine, or is it just my dog's chemistry?

I'd also like to add that for about the first 30 minutes, my dog feels speedy, but the rest of it is just like a VERY mild and calm euphoria. There's little to no stimulation after that 30-1hour mark. Is this the normal reaction?
