Different temperatures

Does anyone know of a guide to getting different effects from weed at different temperatures?

SWIM got a new vapouriser a couple of months ago and the effects are totally different at different temperatures.

I understand that some temperatures release more THC, some more CBD.

But SWIM hasn't kept track of what temperature produces which effects. (SWIM got the munchies and wandered to the petrol station instead.)

Re: Different temperatures

I believe that CBD vaporizes at around 190 degrees C, while THC vaporizes at 200 degrees C. I'm not sure if your vaporizer is accurate enough to set the temperature as such, but I would imagine that both would vaporize at roughly the same setting.

There are many other cannabinoids present in marijuana, perhaps some of those affect the high that different settings produce.

Also, at a higher temperature, cannabinoids vaporize faster. Thus the high might be changed due to the speed at which they are absorbed by the test subject.

Here is an interesting thread on this subject.
