How does SWIM split 8mg Suboxone into .5mg pieces.

This is my first post after months of reading. SWIM has an addiction to painkillers (OC's,hydros, and percs) of about 100mgs a day. For 3 weeks now SWIM has been taking 2mg of Suboxone daily. It works great for him but now he is ready to quit taking it. He only has access to 1 maybe 2 more subs. he can only get the 8mg and would like to know how split these in .25mg doses evenly. thank you for any help.
