Tolerance
My monkey was, up until recently, eating a kilo of poppy pods a week.
He's since had a wee break. Only 7 days mind, he couldn't handle much more than that, was just too much for the poor wee thing. Though my monkey doesn't think that he could go back to eating them, thinks he'll just stick to tea from now on, but i'll give him a couple of weeks and he'll be back to eating them. So aye, my monkey was just wondering what other swimmers tolerance is like to these things, and whether or not my monkey is some kinda freak eating all they poppy pods! So roughly how much do your pets consume per week? I don't think my monkey's tolerance can go any higher on these things, just for the simple fact that it'd be near impossible to try and ingest much more plant matter. It's a lot of fibre, a kilo a week. My monkey has now been using daily for almost a year now mind, and obviously didn't start off ingesting that amount of pods! Ahhh....the good ol days when he could get wasted off like 5 pods, my monkey said. Shut up, Monkey! Stop telling me what to do!! He's such a bully. Always on my back trying to get me to do something, the little bugger.

Re: Tolerance
Don't get a monkey! They're very annoying.
But aye, it's currently Gigs that my monkey is very fond of. Locally sourced too. Whoever is growing these knows exactly what they're getting used for, coz they're very strong says my monkey. But he's had different favourites in his year of using....used to love Dutch Maxis, but then the new harvest came in and they weren't as good as the last. Then he loved Hen & Chicks for a while, but same again with the new harvest not being as good. So my monkey doesn't think it really matters what strain it is, what's more important is how they're grown, the climate and all that. Coz my monkey's had Gigs before that weren't all that, but these ones are top notch, so he says! I'd still love to hear about other swimmers pets and how much they're consuming a week. |
