Oral use - Morning Glory LSA Extraction - Will this work?

Equipment:
1000 Morning Glory Seeds
1 bottle of naptha
2 ounces of vodka

My friend bought several packages of morning glory seeds from a hardware store and counted them out - 1000 seeds.

After briefly rinsing them off with cold water my friend let them dry and then ground them until they were about as large as small grains of pepper.

Then immediately took them into a dark setting and combined the morning glory and naptha in a mason jar and closed it and let the seeds 'brew' for about 4 hours, vigorously shaking about every 30 minutes.

Then my friend strained the morning glory gunk from the naptha, spread it out over tin foil, and let it evaporate for two days. My friend smelled it - smelled kinda like dirt.

Then my friend poured the morning glory into a bottle, and covered it with vodka, there was about 2 centimeters of vodka above the grit.

It's been 24 hours and my friend has been shaking the bottle vigorously every couple of hours. The vodka is now an orangish color and it smells kind of sweet.

My friend plans to let it 'brew' for 2 or 3 more days and then my friend will filter it and give it a try.

My questions are:
Will my friend be safe?
How much should my friend take, assuming there is still 2 ounces left once it's been filtered?
Will my friend experience anything?
Any other comments?

i know someone who did some experimentation with untreated heavenly blues just last winter, purchased from a cheap online source.
he thinks your method produces a good result for the effort. simple cold water extraction worked for him as well, but was gross and led to nausea with high dosing. oddly, he seems to have a fine time just munching down seeds finely powdered with peanut butter or apple sauce. but the little shot of LSA liquor hit him much faster, peaking in 45 min or so rather than 2 hours, and was a lot more enjoyable all around.
he found the alcohol extract of 20g seeds to be ideal for a mid strength 8 hour trip. the same amount for raw seed ingestion. 30g for cold water extraction.
online reports state forty seeds weigh a gram, but this guy thought his seemed heavier than that...
the shells of ipomoea contain toxins that cause cramps and vomiting in some individuals. he doesn't seem to be sensitive, but believes if he was the two step extraction would be less likely to cause discomfort. also he recommends using a 151-proof rum or grain alcohol.
personally i just grow morning glories for the flowers. i wonder if that guy would bother infusing wine with the petals. anybody know?

My friend hasn't tried that, but knows someone who put a lot of morning glory flowers in some grape juice for about a week and they claimed a slight buzz.

I've heard that the government regulates Morning Glory seeds by requiring that all seeds sold legally have been processed with some type of chemical coating that inactivates the high producing effect. Also heard the only method to produce an effect is to plant seeds and harvest new seeds when plant flowers.

I don't know if this is fact or fiction but I will try searching for a formal answer.

Even though this sounds just like a rumor, considering they have sources that advertise as untreated seeds, it would be nice to know if there was some truth to this and where exactly this guy is talking about if any found.
