Dose - Simple question about single party (Alprazolam + Alcohol)

Hello all SWIMmers.

SWIM knows it has been discussed, SWIM has read all topics here regarding this subject, but still preffers to ask more experienced SWIMmers.

His monkey will be partying tomorow and has some xannies available. The monkey usually does xannies 2-3x per year. However, even after few experiences, the monkey has found out that xannies + little alc has been much nicer than xannies alone. The main plan for monkey is to drink beers and have fun (around 10 beers) and maybe take a 1-2mg of alprazolam for a nicer buzz, one hour before drinking. He will be drinking those beers for the period of 6+ hours. The monkey weights 70kg / 154 lbs.

SWIM is educated and knows it is not good to combine CNS depressants, but he also knows when kept in a proper dosage, he can have fun and also be safe.

So SWIM's monkey would like to ask, what dose would be realtively safe for him, regarding the situation described above. Anything from 0 - X mg. He also takes 0mg for the answer of course.

Sorry for larger post, but the monkey thinks it is better to 3x ask than make one stupid move.

10 beers is ALOT to combine with benzodiazepines. SWIM has combined them many a time, but more on the scale of 1-3 beers at the most along with 2mgs. alprazolam.

I would highly suggest lowering either that dosage to .25mgs or just having a few beers.

SWIM would like to ask, how is that possible that I've read many posts that ppl "passed out / blacked out" even after as single dose as 2mg. For SWIM, at least 5 - 8mg is nice to get warm and relaxed feeling.

Is it possible that everyone has individual tolerance by default?

Any suggestions?

SWIM has forgot to mention, that he has 0 tolerance on benzos or any other substances except weed maybe.

Is SWIY a regular consumer of alcohol, GHB, or other GABAergic agents... for instance any prescription meds? Regular use of the prescriptions Ambien (zolpidem), Lunesta (eszopiclone), Topamax (topiramate), Kemstro (baclofen), and valproic acid, as well as others... and even herbal supplements like kava, skullcap, and valerian can result in cross-tolerance towards benzodiazepines.

Or does SWIY have moderate to severe anxiety? That could be involved with a noticeable lower response level to therapeutic doses.
