Oral use - Kratom Pills?

So lately, Swim has been considering taking kratom powder and putting it in empty gelatin capsules, and taking his kratom with this method. Are there any flaws with this method? has it been done? will it work?

If SWIY is used to "toss and wash" or tea methods, SWIY will likely notice a slight decrease in potency with the gel capped kratom. SWIY might also notice a slightly longer time, before effects are felt.

Gel caps take time to dissolve in one's digestive system.

But for SWIM, gel caps are the only way to work with this bad-tasting herb.

Hi. Packing it in capsules appears to be an option. Swim found some info in the Kratom: usage, dosage, different types thread:

SWIM makes his own caps - 00 size - packed tightly - and takes about 6 to the equivalent of a tablespoon.

If SWIY doesn't have a scale - then eyeball how many caps would fit into the bowl of a teaspoon and start with one-less cap than that (since the powder is compressed more than it would be in a loose spoonful)
