Positive teachings...
Swim was thinking the other day of all the things swim has learned over the years from his drug use. This got him comparing the good to the bad and so on. It also got him thinking/wondering would he, if given the chance, change any of the things he has done in his past concerning his drug use. Swim came to the conclusion that he would not be the person he is today without his drug use, and this includes the good and the bad. He, for the most part, is happy with who he is today, he enjoys his life, and he enjoys who is today. Swim came to the conclusion that he has learned many good lessons from the things he has gone through because of his drug use. These good things really go from one end of the spectrum to the other. Here are some examples....
Swim has learned how to control himself much better than he used to. This includes control over his emotions, control over his substance abuse, and many other things. Swim's judgment has gotten much better over the years as well, and he attributes alof of this to his drug use. He really attributes alot of what he has learned when it comes to life to his drug use.
So what I am wondering is, have you swimmers learned positive things from your drug use? And if you have what are the things you have learned?
