Question about lack of sleep and a hurting heart

Swim has had only 3 hours of sleep last night, and got woken to go to work 7 in the morning.
He does general labour / construction/ painting.

He did a 7 hour shift.
Came home and did alot of chores....i e , fixing the toilet, heavy lifting.. other plumbing... that was another 3 hours...

So by the time he finished it was 830 pm. and since then swim has been sitting around doing nothing. He cant fall asleep for some reason.. well hasnt really tried.

The question is, swim is on the computer surfing the web and he can feel his body needs some rest and for some reason his heart has random heavy beats , his heart rate is normal, not fast or anything. Just random heavy beats and then back to normal, and he can feel some pressure / slight discomfort in the area and he is a bit concerned.

Can it be the lack of sleep?

Re: Question about lack of sleep and a hurting heart

Lack of sleep chemically induced or not always puts swim in a bad mood. Also it affects her physically and mentally. Sleep is always very important for good well being.

Re: Question about lack of sleep and a hurting heart

not to be alarmist, but any sort of chest discomfort should be checked by a doc... the heart is one of those essential-type organs (). seriously, though, even if you don't feel an arrythmia, a "deep" contraction of the heart muscle or anythign that feels different, should be checked up on, just to be safe. go get a physical exam to be safe, perhaps?
