UK Codeine prescription
SWIM's father was recently prescribed codeine, following a minor operation. SWIM is considering using this prescription (private, not NHS) to buy some more, but is slightly concerned about the technicalities.
Firstly, SWIM's middle name is the same as his father's first name -- SWIM is planning to claim that he usually uses the middle name, and that his real first name is simply a legal thing, hence its appearance on his ID. Does this sound feasible, or would the pharmacist have age info and suchlike? (SWIM is, obviously, quite a bit younger than his father.)
Secondly, is the doctor alerted in any way when a patient uses his/her prescription? SWIM would not like to risk his father's doctor asking any questions about the repeated buying.
Thanks,
M.

Actually, ignore this -- SWIM's just realized that it wouldn't work, for a number of reasons.
