Opinions - Can you make a gram last for a whole day?

What is your opinion on this matter? Personally, SWIM has a hard time with comedowns so he usually tries to make whatever he has last as long as he can until he wants to go to sleep. So today SWIM started the blizzard earlier because his friends wanted him to and he's been making it last all day. Do you think this is a harsher comedown than if you do it all at once?

Absolutely not. However much coke SWIM buys, that's how much he's doing by the end of the night. And he's not even too fond of the stuff. It has a major pull to it, he tells me.

one gram in just a few minutes? well... i don't think it's very safe. 1 G is about six to seven average size lines for SWIM. one line is good enough for about 40 minutes. there is no reason to do any more, i believe...

and more thing... messages like "haha one gram is nothing" are definitely not safe for newbies. if someone is new with coke, he/she tries to experiment and has no tolerance. when he/she tries to blow 1 G in a matter of minutes, it could be life threatening!

oke, here is my answer as a user of cocaine.

One gram doesn't last a whole day. Trust me, anyone who uses cocaine will take one line every 30min. That is estimated.
One gram is about 7 lines. 7 times 30min is about 4 to 5 hours.

So, what do you think happends? He buys more.

The longest SWIM has made a gram last was for the better part of one night, as SWIM and his friends all bought 1g each for the night. The most SWIM was able at all to ever make last a whole day was 3.5 G's, and that was doing it in moderation as well.

hahaha swim has had 1 g last 2 weeks once. moderation guys and girls, have some other shit to distract swiy. swim agrees that sometimes it fun to do the whole bag in one go. if swiy wants the maximum ratio of dose to cost then spread it out. swim never gets nosebleeds or cant sleep or eat, in small enough amounts swim even gets an appetite! swim is a utilitarian swim uses it for the energy boost but still i understand some people just want to have fun with it.

A gram is gone within 3-4 hours normally. Depending on the quality of the cola and the vibes around ya, which ultimately decide the time between every line. Sometimes when Baron wants to get as waxed as possible he will buck two fat Montana lines consisting the whole gram. swim did more then a gram his first time over the course of the night.. so it's highly doubtful that too many people would make it last a whole day.

there's a part of addiction called "reinforce", which means the need to continue on doing it after you started. Coke is about a 15 / 10 on that scale. Swim doesn't know anyone who won't keep using until it's gone, regardless of how long they intend to make it last when they get it.

Swim has had a gram of amazing quality C lasting a whole week with no problems. He used it cause it was a very hard week at work so he would snort very tiny amounts as needed. He didn't get high of it and didn't need to redose every 30 min, he would do one big line in the morning and then every 4 hours small ones.

He just wanted stimulation and motivation to do some hard boring stuff, but he had to be careful cause he was having meetings and visiting clients, and when he got home GF was there and she's unaware of his drug use. He had some minor cravings sometimes.

The problem is when one has a good amount of coke, spare time and no responsability. Then a gram could be gone very fast. Cocaine only lasts for 30 min and it's eliminated in 2 hours I think but you can be stimulated and avoid tiredness by snorting small amounts in longer periods. That's at least SWIM's case

Are you sure that was pure cocaine?

If it lasted 4 hours it sounds more like it was cut w/ amphetamines.

cocaine's half life is only 1 hour.. any effects that are materially longer then that may just be placebo.

Swim thinks if it is good stuff yes.

Swim got lucky and gets his stuff from a very good source. Normally swim and a friend will split a half gram between 6pm-3am. Lines only need to be small and properly spread out. Swims source gets very pure stuff so a tiny line of this = huge line of regular stuff.

Really it depends on your purity/tolerence. And how long you can wait for your next line.

Ah, to you uptight people who repped me bad, relax a little! There's obviously an exageration there. the overall point being that even for a newcommer, a gram really ain't much. cocaine's always been about how much you can handle anyways, so really swim's just trying to fit in the culture (he's a psychedelic/opiate fan). But in all reality, a gram would last the daytime, just keeping a nice steady buzz for the day. After around 6o'clock though, swim's gonna need a whole lot more if he's going to be out and about.

One gram (1000mg) of PURE cocaine could last up to around 24 hours assuming the individual doesn’t want to be as coked as possible and its looking for a much subtler high for concentration, suppression of fatigue and/or sleep or any of the reasons why low-doses of stimulants are used.

With pure USP-grade cocaine hydrochloride a 50mg line (assuming no tolerance) gives exactly the effects described above and re-dosing with 30mg to 50mg lines every hour or so would keep the high right of the sweet spot.

However street cocaine is quite adulterated, sometimes as low as 30% purity, so a gram would not last much and if SWIY is looking to get a really strong coke high all day long (something not recommended) depending on purity he may need up to several grams.

For SWIM a gram could last 6 hours tops,
Doing two small lines every half hour and once It had worn off had the crazy inclination to get another g but decided this would be a waste of money.
Quite dissapointing really - Coke isn't SWIM's thing he prefers pills,
But definately enjoyable if only for a short time.
