Drug info - Is this hash opiated?

Hi,

When SWIM was recently in Amsterdam, she bought this chunk of black hash from Nepal.

Having heard in forums where the Dutch themselves go when passing through by rail, SWIM visited the non-touristy coffeeshop.

SWIM spotted this bag on the menu board.
It is black to greenish brown and very pliable.
It seems to be a slice from a finger of Nepali hash.



Having read on the forums that black hash from Nepal might be anywhere from zero to 50 percent Opium, SWIM seeks counsel here.

Not really sure whose toy box this one goes into, SWIM sticking more to Cannabis, while SWIM's partner preferring poppies.
SWIM needs to know soon, as other things are dwindling.

So, how likely is it that this piece is opiated?
Is there a way to test?

SWIM is finding various information about black Nepali hash.
So, SWIM am still confused as to which of these best represents the sample.
Here's an example of a hash description that sounds similar.

SWIM just doesn't know if this is opiated or not.

Strain: Nepalese (Nepal)

Cultivation: There are small Cannabis cultivations everywhere in the Highlands of Nepal.

Production: The resin is collected by carefully rubbing the buds between both hands. Later the collected resin is pressed to homogenous Hash-Balls (Temple Balls). Before shipment these balls are pressed in slabs.

Color: Black on the outside, dark-brown inside.

Smell: The aroma is very spicy, heavy and quite sweet. It is particularly potent if a piece of Hash is broken-up.

Taste: Highly aromatic and sweet, more so than Afghani but still less harsh on the throat.

Consistency: Usually somewhat harder than Afghani but still soft enough to be kneaded at body temperature.

Effect: Very physical and stony high.

Potency: Potent to very potent.(11%-15% THC)

Availability: Very rare.

Sonstiges: The best Hash comes from Nepal. This stuff is simply the best - if it really is Nepalese and not some Afghani sold as Nepalese. Usually Nepalese is very expensive, in Amsterdam the best Hash in many Coffee-Shops is nothing else than Nepalese. Personally I think it's always worth the money, at least if you like the stony high it produces. Unfortunately Nepali has been very rare around here in the last years. From time to time small quantities become available.

Well, there's the rub...
SWIM wanted to know before trying it.
Having dropped a few hints to locals, it seemed likely to get an educated guess from all the SWIYs.

SWIM thinks that what you are seeing is the weight, 3.4g.
So, the price wasn't so much as that nice Moroccan Special .

Is that vague enough?

Swim doesn't think there is opium in, he thinks its more likely to be a myth... Swim has to say he is jealous !!!!

He is missing The Netherlands... And a good choice to avoid the touristy coffee shops. If swiy was living in Amsterdam for a while then he will soon find out that the best stuff will be given (or sold very cheaply) to him by friends in small amounts and only for swiy own use.

Over here in the states, hash of high quality is worth it weight in gold. Wasn't paying attention to the weight on the label. Being vague will get you far on this forum!

Where SWIM hatched stateside, hash was unseen since the late 70's.
Maybe the market mechanisms show more why weed is more common in the states, and hash in Europe.
However, those lovely Dutch are changing that.
Still, tourists going home are thinking small.

SWIM is still being cautious.
But, did try a very small ball of the sample.

It was spicy , but smooth and left SWIM's lips a little tingly.
Since SWIM was about half-baked previously, she can't say if there was anything added or not.

Though the tingling is a new sensation for smoking hash.
Might just be awesome hash, as the reviews say.

That means that SWIM gets it for her toy box.

Don't think anything will help with his jealousy. unless he is going back to Amsterdam or find a new place for a holiday....

Its just there is only shit about on swims island and if he is lucky he can find a strong weed (skunk) but good quality hash (not soap-bar) is hard to find here at the moment...

SWIM is so glad to have never encountered soap-bar.

Maybe there's advice here on how to economize your buzz.
Though that's not going to help the flavor..

SWIM can totally empathize with the feast or famine scenario.

SWIM has done more sampling - and thinks it is just great hash, and probably not opiated.

The flavor is great, but doesn't have that heavy nose high like the Moroccan.
So, SWIM is mixing a little ball of each together and adding on top of a dwindling stash of weed.

SWIM found that her pipes aren't needing cleaning as often if the bottom layer is weed or even ash.

When SWIM ripped off a little strip of the black hash, she found her fingers so sticky that they needed washing - twice - with dish soap and a hand brush - and they were still slightly sticky.

SWIM's pet rock reports having transports over the mild spiciness alone..smoking Nepali feels a mystical experience.
More subtly tasty than the Moroccan hash.

SWIM wishes she had a vape or some other gear to do this sticky wonder justice.

I highly doubt the hash has any opium in it, I'm sure coffeeshops wouldn't risk selling illegal drugs.

Its just there is only shit about on swims island and if he is lucky he can find a strong weed (skunk) but good quality hash (not soap-bar) is hard to find here at the moment...

Slightly off topic but I'll post it anyway, SWIM seems to have no trouble finding decent hash in the UK, maybe he just has better contacts, but if you look hard enough good hash can be found in the UK, SWIM just purchased an eighth of some lovely indian charras and finds many types of good quality hash. Although he does occasionally find soapbar the resin about but for SWIY if his normal contacts have any solids they will only be of the highest quality. Maybe living by near a major port helps.

(very sorry to rub it in)

Btw if all SWIY can get is soapbar he could try doing an extraction, soapbar is pretty cost effective when SWIY needs something to smoke on ecstasy. He can buy an ounce of soapbar for little more than he would pay for an eighth of skunk.

SWIM sees your point there.
There was some thread SWIM saw somewhere suggesting that black hash might be opiated, so it seemed a good idea to check.

SWIM just now finally made a lightbulb vap.
Hoping this stretches what is left of this hash.
