Anal use - rectal tea?

is it unreasonable to think one could brew and reduce poppy tea and then administer it rectally? have any SWIY's tried this? would it be stronger enough to be worth it? SWIM figures opium could be used this way, so why not tea. is this dangerous at all (what with lack of purification/extraction)

this is clearly a hypothetical question, and of course SWIM would never encourage one doing such a thing.
