These days it's not really worth going to Mex for these purposes. Restrictions are getting tighter. You also take the chance of getting snitched on by someone. Mexican prisons are not the place to be. Score your drugs domestically.

its not like the good old days, valium and such are no problem, but anything else is not too easy to come by and very expénsive, it's way way cheaper to get the tar. not that i recommend it in any way.

What about further south in baja, and with valid reason( and medical
records) to purchase opiates. I have a hurniated disk in my neck( with
medical records), and I am going to be spending over a month in baja.
Will I be stuck in mexico with no pain relief?

Heh....give it a shot. I bet they would give you what you want,
provided they have it, as long as you have a valid reason (and valid
paperwork).

If you are looking for Oxy's the Latin American version has "EX" on one
side and "10","20","40", ect on the other. So if someone is trying to
sell you Oxy and it does not have "EX" or "OC" (Or "CDN" but I really
doubt you would run across Canadian Oxy's in Mex) then they are ripping
you off. Unless the extremely unlikely event of them have the new
generic 80's. Don't think they are available in Mex though. I have
heard their percs and hydro's are not as strong as the US's, but have
never had the opportunity to confirm that.
