Slowing down in bed?

Are there any other drugs that can be used to slow down ejaculation, swim is currently trying out tramadol but was wondering if any one else has any good ideas, swim has tried dapoxetine but the sides were horrible just like all the others.

Smile Re: Slowing down in bed?

I'm thinking swiy means taking longer to ejaculate, allowing him to go longer in bed, right? If so, there are condoms that are made for this specific problem, It contains a chemical that sort of numbs the penis and lets the man go for longer before he orgasms.
Opiates can sort of kill the sex drive altogether, but some people don't have this issue and have a fine time getting turned on. IDK about making the sex last longer though. Swiv's best suggestion would be to try the condoms. She also says she thinks that there may be creams for men that do this too. She says it may be best to try out an upscale sex shop. The sales people are usually well-trained and are comfortable with most sexual issues, and will probably make swiy feel more comfortable too and guide him to an appropriate product for his needs.

Hope this helps.

swim- an acronym to prevent self-incrimination. used when reffering to illegal activities, and even used when legal in your state, but not someone elses.

Low doses of pretty much any drug can do it. Alcohol's great, not as good as opiates, but too much dope can just leave you too wasted to move. the only problem is it might be a while to get up

Re: Slowing down in bed?

Is the tramadol for something else? Or is it being taken for it's potential usage for controlling ejaculation? (There's a number of papers out on the subject.) Because if it's the later then maybe trying a substitute. Unfortunately, a couple of substitutes have the potential to react very badly with tramadol.

Re: Slowing down in bed?

The tamadol is purely for this purpose of delaying ejaculation, swim is not thinking of using it every time but just now and again as it can be habbit forming.

Re: Slowing down in bed?

Viagra certainly works for swim, but cocaine works better and amphetamine...
Oh my goodness...
Amphetamine turns swim into a fucking machine; an unstoppable force.

Re: Slowing down in bed?

Viagra and the like are for ed not pe, and seemingly swij61 is concerned about forming a habit so perhaps cocaine and amphetamines might not be a suitable solution.

SwiTea just read a brief 2008 article on the subject and notices that there is no US FDA approved drug for pe, instead they use drugs that have the secondary benefit of helping with this issue. Sorry, swiTea doesn't see anything from the UK on the subject. The other two drugs with this secondary benefit are paroxetine (paxil) and sertraline (zoloft), both may cause adverse reactions with tramadol and both have documented cases of problems with suicidal behavior, which is why tramadol is being studied in the context of pe, and neither are specific to the issue of pe.

hmm... swiTea has some other thoughts maybe the Indonesian pasak bumi, or the Chinese yin yang huo, and puncturevine. Xanthoparmelia scabrosa seeds have been used for ages in the Orient for the issue. If this were swiTea's man, she'd rather he try one of those first.

Oh my gosh, Swiv just remembered. Tramadol acts as a low-level SSRI. That is why it may work for PE. A big DUH on her part. An SSRI could be helpful. Swiv wonders if any doctors would script it for this off-label use for SWI61. Very interesting, SWITea. Swiv wonders if a higher dose of Tramadol would be more effective too.

Swim can speak from personal experience that paroxetine causes very, very severe ED. As in, to the point of not being able to get near completion which swim sees as being an adverse effect of what the OP was looking for.
From swim's experience, cocaine and amphetamine provide much better control (ie ED).
I guess that if addiction potential is in the question, they should both be out of the answer, however swim was simply noting that they work exceptionally well in the area of control. They're both extremely psychologically addicting though, and the user should be well aware of potential consequences.

Re: Slowing down in bed?

Swim tried out the tramadol last night at 50mg and left it for an hour but didnt feel like much was happening so took another 50mg and then waited, soon after a euphoric sensation was felt and swim had sex.Worked a treat but felt very strange the rest of the night and had problems sleeping.Maybe next time swim needs to try 50-75mg.
