Question Is it possible to have a naturally high tolerance to benzos?

Swivy has been on many a benzo: alprazolam, diazepam, clonazepam, temazepam, lorazepam and midazolam. None but midazolam have made her feel much of anything but less tense or sleepy. Never get any euphoria or any recreational feelings at all. Swiv hears all these people talking about how great they feel on Xanax or Valium, but the only one that has mader her feel that way was midazolam, for the few fleeting moments she could remember anything after the nurse put it in her IV. Can Swiv just be non-responsive to the recreationally desired effects of weaker benzos? She'd really love to take an alprazolam and feel good, not just sleepy or calm.

benzo's are for anxiety releif and you say you feel calm, that is working then. Euphoria comes only to people that suffer extreme daily anxiety and then pop a benzo, feeling calm and free now THATS euphoric! To a normal person with everything working in the brain as it should it could only be said that a benzo would just make you tired and depending on the amount loosing feelings in ones legs etc really enjoyable...NOT!

Re: Is it possible to have a naturally high tolerance to benzos?

Swim has very little reaction to even high doses of xanax. If he snorts it he can fall asleep when he might not otherwise be able to. That's about it. Valium on the other hand kicks his ass and in Swim's opinion, feels like shit.

Yep, this sounds like Swivy to a tee. Xanax is actually what she is prescribed for sleep since it works so well for that.
