did anyone experience intersubjectivity on entheogens? knowing what people close to you think without speaking? instances of this are described nicely in "the electric kool-aid acid test", says there that it's the wierdest feeling ever. |

I hear it happens quit often on hardcore trips. I also here its not good to make it a habbit of doing it either. Just my two cents.

A friend of mine was in a group psychotherapy weekend session when LSD
was legal. He felt a woman upstairs in trouble. He asked the Secret Chief to go to her and help her. He did. She said she was stuck in the Midwest and could not get out! The Secret Chief helped her and she suddenly said she took her top hat off and stars flowed out of it and she was free! That is how they met! Those two were friends for 40 years until his death 3 years ago. |

It is documented that people who have long tripsometimes see into the fourth dimension. This is the similar as talking telepathically. (did I spell that right?)Basically it happens because the drug alters how we use our brain and we use untouched areas, areas used by psychics etc. So we are seeing, hearing, feeling things that most are unable to tune their brains into. Like a radio, your altering a frequency. Find a book, THE BIGGEST SECRET by David Icke for a little on it, worth reading the whole lot though. |

I can tell you what my wife is thinking almost to the letter in
most circumstances. This is because I know her well. Not because Im telepathic. I often can tell what one my clients will say next in a conversation. This is because Ive had similiar conversations with other clients about the same thing. So while I do think it entirely possible that it does occur, I also think in most occurences the intersubjectivity is more probably caused by a increased sensitivity and understanding of social cues. Body language, smell, etc. Is LSD the best candidate to obtain a state of mind favorable to intersubjectivity? |

SWIM has noticed many times that he shares a thought with a fellow tripper. SWIM would comment on it, and the other person would say something like, "I was just thinking that." It seems to happen more while on psychedelics, but also happens when SWIM is sober. It doesn't seem like telepathy really, because SWIM can't just read minds, but it seems more like sharing a thought. Stuff like this happens to SWIM alot while sober also, like he would think of someone he hasn't seen in a while, then 2 minutes later that person would call him. I think mysticism partially explains the phenomenon. Sloppo |

There is a person who told me his theory is that we are all telepathic and
that language was created by humans when we decided to start lying. |

My old group of friends (the Space Cadets) used to play games all the
time that were a little frightening at first. I would hold a card up, not showing them what it was, and the person would tell me if it was black or red, then if they were correct, what suit, then royal or number, then what the card was. About 90% they'd win. Also we couldn't play "I Spy" because the person spying would always guess correctly within two or three guesses. I believe we had an amazing connection (just the four of us). We have since parted ways, regretably. |
