Opana ER and nods
SWIM is very Opana tolerant though he is careful not to go overboard as he will never find a lifesaver in that condition. Very talented in removing the outer coating, SWIM still saves the "peelings" in a plastic baggie. Giving it a few shakes now and then will release any still stuck to the coating and there will be a nice amount at the bottom of the baggie by the time the Opana is used up.
Since SWIM has a legal Rx he uses insurance to fill the Rx. He recently found out that there are some huge differences in pharms that fill it. That doesn't make sense of course but there it is. Filled at Walgreen's, Rite Aid, mom and pops, and Kroger's made no difference at all. But recently SWIM was forced to use CVS. After quickly removing the coating in the car, SWIM insufflilated 20mg to start the day. Within 20 minutes SWIM felt a strong need to lay down so he went to a park and stared at the stars which could not be seen during the day with the naked eye. SWIM feels that naked eyes are beautiful and natural, and has no embarrassment about revealing them in public.
It must be the fact that SWIM had not done much more than watch TCM while listening to Yaz's You Can't Say It In Public the last few days, he thought. He went home and after a few hours decided to do his low normal of 30mg. Having to actually turn in some work, he turned on the laptop and started the creative process of writing profound paragraphs which really made no sense but would be considered to be so artistic and abstract, they would be hailed as way beyond his time, which is so far beyond that everyone who thought those thoughts would be dead by the time it was figured out to be nothing but bullshit.
A few sentences later, SWIM woke up with a news report that Billy Mayes had died, thereby huffing the chance of developing a way to keep from giving vacuums second chances. You know where the vacuum doesn't pick something up so you throw it back down and give the vacuum a second chance? That will sadly be missed. But SWIM's laptop was on the floor where his 100lb Golden Retriever was laying on it as if it was the epitome of cushy pillows.
This lapse in time and how suddenly it presented, gave SWIM enough of an adrenaline push that the grogginess left. Fast forward to 3 more times. Fell out of PC desk chair once. Woke up with T-shirt soaked with melted popsicle juice. And mouth went numb while talking to madre on the phone. That one resulted in numerous "WHAT is wrong with you??? Are you SICK? Do you want me to come over?" No, I am sorry but I must pass a kidney stone first.
Très effrayant! (insert French lesson here) = Very scary! And sickening to the point that bile is rising to SWIM's gorge. Thirty have been wasted because SWIM's body chooses the Alice in Wonderland path instead of experiencing one of the nicest euphoric journeys in SWIM's universe. It sticks in SWIM's craw.
SWIM can think of nothing that has changed except he is a month older than the last journey. This might be an answer if SWIM was Benjamin Buttons but he is more like Benji Madden.
It takes some smacks of reality and hammering to remove disbelief but SWIM is actually back to splitting 10s into 5s. Don't shoot rubberbands, SWIM knows these will last much longer. SWIM is just looking for reasons why this could have happened. Also to let people know that even an opiate tolerant person could suddenly be less tolerant than they perceive they are.
Edit: SWIM is also now taking Provigil with the Opana and that helps quite a bit. At least SWIM can remember you don't really have to heat Spaghetti-Os before eating them.
