If SWIY has an amount of powder or pills at a club or that kind of night time setting, if the police catch you, they'll still bring you in, here is SWIMS story.

MMCAT, Mephedrone are both the same drug (diff. names) and not controlled in the UK.

So last night, I was searched and arrested for possible intent to supply class A drugs. I had 5500mg on me of MMCAT and my friend had >500mg. I made mention about the legality of MMCAT but I was still sent into the police station and I had to sleep over there till the morning when I could be dealt with. Waiting till the morning sucked hard, never slept but obviously they can't take my word it's MMCAT.

They tested the drug and nothing, negative. They also tested me and lucky I was clean. Now they have sent all the MMCAT off to a lab for further testing and I am on bail but I know it's all good and I'll be okay.

So if your thinking about taking MMCAT out, I would adivise you to do it oral or if railing (toilets). It's oral only for me. Why could they not test the drug THERE AND THEN in the street or station and then drug test SWIM and let SWIM go off on his own way?

Anyone else had a similer experience?? I asked if there is anychance I could get the MMCAT back and they said it'll be distroyed!!!! 6G of plant feeder, gone.

When the police were first taking me in they kept telling me they just had to book me in and I asked how long will it be and I got "Not long", "Well, more than 10 minutes" and that was utter BS as I was later told they were keeping me all night.

So the moral is, DO NOT GET CAUGHT because till they interview SWIY and bail SWIY you'll be treated like someone with nearly 2x eightballs of coke.

It's pretty fair to assume that you're going to be arrested if found with anything which visually resembles a class A. A police officer will probably naturally assume that even if what they find isn't classified, you might have something else on you that is.

They can't test out in public I imagine because while they can and do have basic testers which can detect some basic compounds, all they can do is prove that something *is* there - I'm guessing if the test shows nothing (although apparently meph or methylone can cause a positive result for amphetamines?) they'll suspect the test was faulty or you're on something else which could still be illegal.

So, when you're at the station and they're running tests, I imagine it's because they have to use big machines to analyse it all.

Mind you, I don't know for sure, but I remember enough about basic chemistry and some stuff gleaned from around t'interwebs that they use bloody big machines.

The Police can only test for certain drugs back at the police station. Anything else has to be sent away to the laboratory for testing and they have to interview you in case it comes back as an illegal drug. As far as destroying the stuff then i'm not sure this is correct. Thats the same as having a replica antique gun that they take off you and send off to see if its capable of firing. If its not they give it back to you because no offence has been committed, surely the drugs have got to be the same. If theres no offence to have the stuff then how can they take it off you. I would re check this.
