Opinions - Help Identifying a strain

swim is currently in the USA visiting family
the other day he smoked some weed with a friend and found it to be so good he bought some
swim knows it is very high quality but would like to know what strain it is
his friend could not tell him

the buds were small and hard with alot of crystal
the colour was light green with some purpuly red hair
the smell and taste was sweet and a bit skunky
swim does not not now much about the different strains
his only geuss is it might be a kush
swim will try and post a picture next time he has some

i know this is a vague description but any help identifying it would be much appreciated by swim

sorry- but the possibilities are endless. Even pics really wouldn't nail it down- it would take a conossieur the combo of looks, smell, taste, effects, to even have a chance.

Swim would have to give an educated guess that the buds you have right now is a Sativa strain. Sativa is known for being a light green in color with red hairs throughout and the buds being compact. Also what really sealed the deal for Swim is when Swiy mentioned about its skunky aroma as skunk is a notorious strain of Sativa.

One of the best ways to tell a strain is by the effects of smoking it rather than its appearance. Try blazing a joint and see what the effects bring on. Sativa is known for giving the user more of a mental, head high with some energy to go along with that. Indica is more of your chill body high where Swiy will feel like lazing out in front of a couch and initiate chill mode ha ha.

Swim isn't sure, but when swim saw this picture, he thought of this thread. It looks yummy nonetheless! It said it was 'pink indicia bud'.

It is nearly impossible to identify a strain with a description, let alone a picture, It could even be some home grown bud, Swim suggest asking the dealer ?
