Travelling on Methadone

My partner and I would like to go on holiday however he has to take 50ml of methadone everyday (his prescription says 60ml but we are doing are own reduction).

Do you know if there are any restrictions on where we can go, how long for etc? Hes prescription is weekly so we dont have to worry about having to go every day or anything like that but im pretty sure there are some countries that wont let us in.

If people could let me know what they think or where i can find any information that would be great.

yeah SWIY should be ok. Ask SWIY clinic and tell them about the hol and they should give SWIY enough to last

Apparently America has a tough policy on who is allowed into country especially addicts and those with criminal records

for travelling, most doctors will prefer to give you physeptone (methadone tablets), and the amount of take aways you get will depend on their generosity as well as your track record. ie: if youre a complete mess, they wont be so kind, whereas if you have been off heroin for awhile and they can see that, then they will not hesitate. (unless theyre obnoxious cunts).

swim thinks there is a maximum amount any doctor in any given country can prescribe, but this would obviously differ between countries.

in the past, swim has had 10-14 days of take aways prescribed for travel, however it was national travel. not international.

swims from the UK, if swiys are not going for over a month it should be ok, people rarely get searched with it from what swims heard from the chemist/doctor, remember to keep it wrapped up in the suitcase and leave the sticker with the prescribed name on it, theres a limit to take a board which is 50ml i think, this is with any liquid substance
