need help identifying substance

im sorry this is a little long but I have an interesting question that i



hope someone here can help me with.



A friend of mine recently purchased some speed and



encountered something strange and asked me to try and help him



figure out what he found. while smoking the shit as he always does,



he found a few shards did not react normally. they looked normal and



when a heat source was placed underneath the glass bowl it was in, it



melted normally. the thing is when he started to suck on the smoke



being produced, the smoke defidently tasted strange and made him



cough and gag some. he said he thought it might have just been some



of the impurities burning off which many times will cause the same



reaction if the first hit isn't blown off. but that wasn't the case this



time. the shard he placed in the pipe was now completely gone--no



residue or anything! its like it dissapeared. also no smoke came out of



his mouth after he sucked in the first time. oh yeah--i forgot one



other strange thing he said happened--this sounds weird as hell but



when he started sucking on the pipe to get a hit, he felt something



hitting his lips. he immediately pulled the pipe away and felt his lips to



see what it was, and he wiped what looked to be some white powder



off his lips. he initially thought it was some meth that didn't melt in



the pipe, but it didn't taste like meth. he even tried to get a hit again



after inspecting the pipe to make sure there wasn't anything in the



bowls that he had missed, but the samething happened again.



defidently some weird shit. he said he was confused because he has



never encountered anything like this before. he also told me he tried



tasting a little of the questionable substance and he said it kinda



tasted sweet--defidently not the bitter-ass taste meth has. im sure



that this is some substance used to cut the final product considering



most of the stuff he got was actually very good. so far he has only



found a few crystals that reacted this way. there is also the chance



that its just some impurities or byproducts that didn't get filtered out



during the cook due possibly because the chef was inexperienced or



spun out of his mind while cooking his batch. anywas, if someone has



encountered this substance in question and knows what im talking



about, please reply and let me know! and one final thing....is there a



chemical or method that can be used to clean out impurities that



might be left in the meth a person bought. possibly something along



the lines of an aceton wash?

probably just some cut, i dont know what could be used to make it
sweet. Check some meth recipies and look at the purification
process, and see what they suggest using to clean it out. Uncle
Fester gives a pretty good recipe, as well as rhodium.
