Can prescription drugs cause false positive for PCP in a drug test?
can prescription drugs make u fail a drug test for PCP? my friend is taking trazodone 100mg 1 time a day, ambien 10mg 1 time a day, effexor 100mg 1time a day and clonazepam 2 mg 3 times a day.. she went to c her PO 2day and they said she failed for PCP... she only takes the meds i listed above and nothing else .... so any help would be a blessing..

None of those should have set off a false positive, but seeing as this is in the DXM forum... DXM, in most cough syrups, can (rarely) give a false positive for PCP.
