Health - Can regular amphetamine use cause anaemia?

LOGICALLY SWIM reckons this may be so. Because she has just been told she can't give blood cause she is anaemic, and other than the speed she is strangely healthy in her habits. Yeah swim knows that it is somewhat odd that she donates, but other than a free good thing to do it is a way of forcing herself not to do speed for at least 5 days so her blood is clean enough to give. SWIM is veggie but since she has been such for 12 years it seems weird that suddenly she should become anaemic. she generally eats a good diet, and even forces herself to eat when up on speed for a few days now. She exercises 3 or 4 times a week and hardly drinks. A sickening goody 2 shoes other than her great fondness for uppers, in other words (coffee and ephedrine included). Right now she is stressed due to her dad being very ill and feeling powerless to help, as she lives 200 miles from her parents. Though she visits for over a week each month to give her mum and brother a break from helping out. So given that she is in good shape, swim can only conclude it is either the stress or the ups that are to blame?And if so, why so suddenly?Any info and guidance would be greatly appreciated, thanks for reading.

A friend of mine didn't have anemia, but he got tested after started doing amphetamines and is anemic... so i guess it does give u anemia. I think most ot the drugs do

as stimulants in particular are debilitating I suppose it figures. Odd its not been a problem til now though, or at any rate a noticeable one. Cause swim has been at it for four years... three times a week or more...
