Making a silencer/filter on a siphon

The last time SWIM ordered Bestwhip and found that it either was much worse for his throat than the iSi brand he used to use or he just forgat how much residue there is. That inspired him to make a simple filter to filter out the oily residues. SWIM says now the taste of the gas is more delicious and it's easier to breath, with no clogging up of the throat after a bunch of whippets.

Just take a piece out of old mattress or air filter etc.

Put it in the servingnib of the siphon(I drew it with opened paper-clip so that it would spread evenly, but one could just stuff it in with a pencil)

Tape a piece of clothing, a metal screen or similar at the end to prevent the filter from getting to balloon

That's it. It also works as an effective silencer.

I tried to shrink those picture, but it wouldn't matter in the end. How could I make them smaller?

Re: Making a filter on siphon

My nieghbour says he is going to try this out ASAP!
He says if it works this will make him a much better nieghbour as he wont be making annoying loud hissing sounds all the time.

Re: Making a filter on siphon

SWIM hates the loud hissing noises, when a cat uses the cracker and SWIM is gassed, the hiss snaps SWIM out of it :/
No more oily gunk for SWIM.
