Has anyone ever played this stupid little game Bookworm...I found that
on my current binge of 73 hours at the moment I can't pull myself away from this damn game when I'm on yeo...I'm also about 10 million times better at it...I've never gotten above 300,000 sober but I'm currently over 3 million...Which makes me want to ask the question of why they call it dope ...Just a warning if youstart skiing the slopes at your house and plan to go out...don't start this freaking game up...oh well at least I'm almost out...it's about time got work tomorrow ![]() |

Jeesh, SWIM can relate to the 73 hours thing... that's about the point that any repetitive activity is the thing to do. Haven't played Bookworm myself tho... usually it's just Solitaire for hours on end. Is it an online game; got a URL?
Cheers...Edited by: Nicaine |

Well you can play it online at www.popcap.com but the downloadable
deluxe version is where it's at=)....don't know why this thing is so addictive...anyways the skiing trip lasted 76 hours I usually only go 12 and then sleep some and start again but I think from now on this is the way to go. Usually I end up withdrawn as hell for about 3 hours till I can sleep but this time I went right to sleep 5 minutes after the last line....wasn't going to do any more for a couple of months..because I just realized I've spent 5,000 bucks since january on the shit...but made a call tonight and looking to get a couple of g's....shits got a hook on me....but it's not negatively affecting anything at the moment...so I shall carry on=) ![]() |

SWIM feels like coke narrows his horizons and kills his imagination. Know what I mean? It screws with your perspective, so it seems like right this minute is all there is in life, sort of like a 3-year-old thinks. Very conducive to doing compulsive stuff, cuz (at least in SWIM's case) he can't think creatively enough to come up with noncompulsive stuff. Dunno how the hell Sigmund Freud did it & still came up with all that, but he did come up with some pretty weird theories...
There's no doubt in SWIM's mind, cola is not good for you in any sense of the word, either physically or mentally. Not that he thinks people should stop, just sayin'... Edited by: Nicaine

frosty completely agrees..frosty used to care about many things. He
used to lift weights compulsively now he goes once a week just to try and keep what he has...if not on coke he's very bored...so while he can keep from doing it if theres no money....the second he does get spare change he goes and does it....and to be truthful this 76 hour binge is the first time he's had fun on it in months but he keeps doing it....his birthday was the weekend of the 31st and he ran through 11grams that week of high quality stuff...don't know how you've been doing it for decades |

I don't do it at all, my buddy whom I post for is relating all this stuff.
Anyway, he's been doing it in a binge-type way for decades, not chronically. Usually REALLY heavy for several months (often when the opportunity/$$/whatever presents itself), followed by approx. 1-4 years in between, perfectly happy without it for the most part. He says he really doesn't want to keep this pattern up, but it ain't easy to shake. He's followed this sort of pattern with most other chems he likes as well. P.S. 11 grams in a week is quite a bit. With a low to moderate tolerance that would be nearly constant usage, I think (heavier tolerance = longer breaks). Depends how many "friends" he's got swarmin' around him too, if any.... ugh soo true! cept in my case it is meth. i will start somethin like hmmmm...typing a SHORT reply to a post, and it turns into like 5 pages! i will start something thinking it will take 5 mins and next thing i know 1 am has turned into 6am! now i try to remind myself to refrain from zoning in on something completely and making lists of things i need to get done. but yeah...it's prob a good thing i don't have the sims anymore... i would seriously be up for days at a time without even noticing! i will try the bookworm game though i can't help myself! just pray that i don't get addicted! ![]() Edited by: brandonBOYDrox |

I'm normally a pretty prolific poster on most Internet forums, but when SWIM starts dictating to me I think I really become an annoyance (at least to myself, and I suspect maybe to others). I know I get tired of seeing my username over & over again... Edited by: Nicaine

Who knows, maybe he'll even decide he prefers to spend his money on stuff that stays around awhile. I should talk him into trying Kratom... it's cheap, and word is it's a decent buzz.Edited by: Nicaine |
