Combinations - Lorazepam + Codeine

SWIM took 3mgs of lorazepam sublingually about half an hour before his 300mg Codeine dose.

SWIM is familiar with both these drugs seperately, and the first 30 min of the codeine coming on with the lorazepam felt great, but coming on about an hour later now, and SWIMs brain feels like its been locked up and out of service. Hes become extremely nervous and anxious and really starting to have a bad trip. Like its getting harder by the minute for him to type this out.

Has anyone else done this lorazepam + codeine combo? How did it make SWIY feel?

This is interesting. Are benzos really that good as opiate potentiators?
SWIM takes Lorazepam (not recreationally) daily, so SWIM doesn't think 10mg could do much harm. SWIM could be wrong of course.

What does swiy mean, "that good"? It shut down their brain with no mention of euphoria! Doesn't sound like much of a potentiation to swim.

If it doesn't cause greater euphoria then it's not potentiation, it's most probably just causing intoxication and damage.

Benzos and opiates are one of the most dangerous drug combinations possible. If you do mix them, it must be a very small amount of benzos, like smaller than a normal legitimate dose.

I think if you take the vicodin early in the day then take the benzos at night it's okay.

Benzo's and opiates together are not such a good idea. People have been known to stop breathing if the combination is wrong. Check it out, UTSE, there's lots of accurate advice on this subject.
