Drug info - fentanyl durogesic 50mcg

hey everyone SWIM has durogesic fentanyl 50mcg and 25mcg patches SWIM was wondering if his friend who has a 20mg oxycodone tolerance would get high from 25mcg patches?

or would it be the 50mcg that wouldmake him really high if the high is too much can it be taken off and stored away?

also would it kill SWIM using a 50mcg patch

A 25 mcg patch would be about right for someone taking 20 mg's oxycodone a day. Janssen, the maker of the duragesic patches, suggests someone be on around 30 mg's oral oxy to start on a 25 mcg/hr patch but most find those estimates conservative. 50 mcg/hr might be too much at first so a 25 would be ideal. If its too much it can be taken off but it wont keep long after its been worn. Only swiy would know how your body reacts to that specific chemical but generally when worn unpleasant effects are noticed before someone gets close to death. The danger lies in quick delivery of a lot of the fentanyl, like smoking/injecting it or in falling asleep with a patch on before you know how it affects swiy. Swims personal experience was that a 40 mg hydrocodone daily tolerance was a perfect stepping stone to a 50 mcg/hr patch while still leaving enough room for effects to be noticeably stronger.
