[top] Heroin warning after three deaths

There are fears the men were killed by a contaminated batch of heroin

Three men have been found dead in Bradford in a little over 24 hours, prompting police to issue a warning about contaminated heroin.
The body of a man in his 20s was found in the Leeds Road area on Friday morning. Later in the day a man in his 40s was discovered at a house in Wyke.
And on Saturday afternoon, a man in his 40s was also found dead in Girlington.
Police say heroin users in the city should be aware of the possibility that their supply could be contaminated.
Officers say they have also been made aware of a Shipley man who is said to be in a serious condition in hospital.
Anyone with information about contaminated drugs or drug dealers is asked to contact West Yorkshire Police or Crimestoppers.

Re: Heroin warning after three deaths

Three men have been arrested over a potentially contaminated batch of heroin in Bradford.

The men, aged 31, 28 and 25, have been been arrested on suspicion of being concerned with the supply of controlled drugs, West Yorkshire Police said.
Three men were found dead in the Bradford area in just over 24 hours, and a fourth, from Shipley, died in hospital on Monday.
Police believe they could all have used contaminated heroin.
The body of a man in his 20s was found in the Leeds Road area on Friday morning. Later in the day a man in his 40s was discovered at a house in Wyke.
And on Saturday afternoon, a man in his 40s was also found dead in Girlington.
The three men are being questioned by West Yorkshire Police over the supply of the drugs.
Post-mortem and forensic tests are being carried out on the heroin to determine if it is contaminated.
