Psychadelic Strain?

Looking for a particularly powerful strain of psychedelic marijuana. Does anyone know of a strain that is especially good in this regard?

Find that hashish gets the mind going a bit more (intense dreams, appreciation for music) than weed normally so looking for a type of weed that will space out equally. Any recommendations?

i do not believe that there are any psychadelic strains of pot out there. I say this because the active chemical in mushrooms is psilocybin or psilocin. Pot contains THC as an active chemical. I would go for a strain that is very high in THC because this would be as close to psychadelic pot as u'd get.

Also what is an inca? are you speaking of an indica plant? An indica plant does not mean that it is a more potent of a plant, it just means that it grows more like a bush then a tall weed plant (sativa). And isnt hash just THC and something else? Is there such a thing as a "hash plant"??

doesnt a indica plant give a more cerrable ( i cant spell) high whereas saliva strain gives more of a bodily high... read it in some book.

i think you got it mixed up. sativa strains give more of a cerebral high and indica strains give you more of a body high and make you tired. yes there are hash plants. i believe they make weed thats not that good but they are best for making into hash. i could always be wrong though.


the only time i smoked hash it felt more like a mind high and i didnt like it as much as straight weed. i dont think there is really a such a thing of weed being pshycadelic though

Hash plant might just be referring to an Indica strain, since I think the general concensus is that Indica's are the better to be used for making hash and I would think most people prefer Sativas.

I heard that and wondered whether research was made into which strains had the more cerebral effect. Give the AK47 a go, but are there any other suggestions?

Haze takes longer to grow, but has a psychedelic character.

Purple haze, it's very strong but the taste is a bit peculiar. Does this go for silver haze?

The good idea is already to use a sativa or mostly sativa strain.

But the genetic is not everything, I read several times that the time when you harvest if important too.

If you harvest your buds early, then you will have a more cerebral/stimulant effect than if you let them ripen longer.

The chemical compounds (THC/CBN/...) seem to variate qualitatively with time.

First, there definetly are more psychadelic strains of pot, any of the haze strains are psychadelic, although the purity of the strain now is questionable. For pyschadelic, you would be looking for a sativa with high levels of THC and THCV. THCV is what is thought to account for the pyschadelic effects, and high levels are found in African and Asian strains.

Second, and although being an indica plant doesn't mean it's going to be more potent in terms of THC, many people consider it to be more potent than Sativa because of the knockout high. It's all in your definition of potentcy. And also, the trichomes of an indica plant are generally larger than of a sativa.

Third, I agree with you, there's no such thing as a "hash plant", however there are hash strains and sometimes lower grade weed is considered hash weed.

i found blueberry (although it could have been any number of purple or
blue strains because it was dried kinda decently but not great so the
colors and stuff were so so, and btw i didnt grow it) to be kinda
psycadelic.

A few strains that come to mind with psychedelic like qualities are Mothers Milk, Yellow Cab, Haze, AK-47, NL#5 x Haze, and 4-Way.

SWIM has tried AK-47 and hasn't found it to be pyschadelic at all, but would not be surprised if it wasn't in fact AK-47 at all, or a hybrid, due to the source he obtained it from.
