Bombay Blue comes in 2g, 3g, and 5g foil packs with the tagline, "An exotic blend of Eastern Surprise!" Perhaps to preserve the surprise, no ingredients are listed.
A Web search reveals that Bombay Blue is manufactured by the makers of Star Dust bath salts, using plants from ancient cultures, and probably shamans. It is marketed by the manufacturer as a "legal high alternative to illegal substances" as well as an incense.
"Burn Bombay Blue incense, stick up a photo of the Taj Mahal and pretend you are in your very own Bollywood movie!"
SWIM will probably try this tonight, and update. Any other SWIMmers have experience with Bombay Blue?
Swim received a 0.5g sample of this blend with an order. This is not really a blend as such, it did nothing for swim, swim is a heavy smoker though. Very twiggy, tastes nice though, so yeah, swim cant really say much more as it did nothing, would not advise you to waste your money on this blend.
Fluffy texture and nice smell. Smoke is smooth and tasty but a bit tarry, and inoffensive in smell. Opaque resealable bag with a sticker label.
SWIM's a male 180 lbs using a glass bong
+20 Some visual freeze-framing, mild euphoria. This is a heavy body buzz. SWIM's head is foggy and his limbs are heavy. The couch beckons. No visual effects
+30 visuals a bit glossy and 2-D. Body buzz mounts, thought activity decreases. SWIM is happily pickled, in a small jar. He struggles to continue doing chores
+35 hit #2
+40 the stereo is underwater but things look pretty normal. The couch acquires a gravitational field. SWIM considers smoking a lot of this but fears dumbness tomorrow.
+50 SWIM is oscillating to the music. This is more body than he has experienced from a blend. He could get into exercise on this blend, but the instant he sat down he would stick
+80 In a sleepy foggy space. SWIM is content, mildly hungry, and glad he did not take more
+120 Out of the fog
SWIM would find this a good midnight toke or rainy-day-at-home smoke. Too heavy for a day out. The short-acting couchlock is unique for SWIM; he'll probably try this next before going to a movie. An overall B-; short duration and mental sharpness could be better, but smoking experience and body high are very good.
I've tried this blend multiple times and it is now easily my favourite, because I like the heavy body stone. The reason I got into it because I'm a regular orderer from a website that gives a free sample with every order.
Anyway, I have noticed differences in batches. Sometimes it's on a par with spice gold, one batch i had was rediculously strong, it blew me sideways!!!!
Also, I like the fact it's £XX.XX for a 5 grammer, 3 grams simply isn't enough for me.
Cheap if bought as 5 g's
can be twiggy (recommend grinding it)
Sometimes the batches can be inconsistent (I've had it 5-6 times and 1 batch was weak)
Can be too strong, it can really f*ck you up.
SWIM got a letter from a UK head shop with a pack of Blue Bombay. SWIM tried a pinch ... 50mg or about 3 or 4 draws on a small homemade soap stone pipe. ... and waited for the effects. SWIM is happy with this blend. Very similar to Zohai in taste and texture. Dry crushed leaves.
SWIM got very high in about 10 minutes. Very similar body stone as NL Super Skunk cannabis, but more edgy. High intensity lasted about an hour and settled into a cool buzz in about 2. SWIM is happy and considers it a good product. SWIM has a bad back and feels no pain.
SWIM purchased 3g of Bombay Blue for a very reasonable price - SWIM thinks this is a very nice smoke - similar strength to Spice Gold.
SWIM smoked the lot in 2 days and had no feeling of paranoia, very relaxing, might be a good replacement for Spice
Swim was given a small pack of this when it first came into his headshop and smoked a nice sized joint.
Results found by swim:
fluffy texture, pleasant aroma, quite disapointed on volume, but weight was spot on.
easy to roll, spice-like consistency and fluffyness
12.30pm - inhaled and held for around 5 seconds, exhaled and got a nice wave come over. Similar to spice diamonds effects
Rest of joint:
12.30 - 12.37 - 7 minutes to smoke the rest, took a while as it was quite fat. Felt a buzz rising as time went on. Feel like only half the amount was needed.
12.38-1pm - sat chilling on sofa, not doing anything, pretty spaced out.
Feeling continues until 1.30(ish) then starts to degrade
2pm - high completly gone, but left with a nice afterglow and in a very good mood. Sits outside with a beer, cigarette and toastie, everything taste awesome, especially the beer.
-A little dry mouth experienced immediately after smoking, stopped shortly afterward with aid of water.
-Neusia (probably due to smoking too fast, will be testing this out tonight, and will report back)
