problem snorting pills

When SWIM was younger, he had his adenoids removed, as well as some other nasal surgery done. Because he doesn't have adenoids, he can do crazy things like suck a noodle up his nose and take it out his mouth, or spit water out his nose at will. Also, when he snorts pills, the powder seems to all go straight to the back of his throat, get stuck, and lots of it goes into his mouth. sometimes, it will actually make him cough, and a little powder can come out. I know that drippage is normal, etc, but does anyone else have this problem?

SWIM used to have that problem using her left nostril. She switched to her right and it works much better. This being after she heard the left nostril goes the the brain (good) and the right goes to the throat (bad).

Correct. No difference no matter what nostril it is.
SWIM has no personal experience with nasal surgery but plenty of experience with insufflating pills. If SWIY is not getting the desired results, try a different method of ingestion. Anal plugging (as distasteful as it is to some), works just as well. Or just crush the pill to the finest possible powder, put it in some water and drink it like a shot - in SWIM's personal experience this method was just as effective as snorting, but she is sure it's different for every person. Anway - anything is worth a try, cause SWIY doesn't want to waste any of the pill coughing out the powder...
