do any of you smoke the resin that is left in the pipe after a while?swimhas heard it is very harsh but has a high thc content.

I usually scrape the bong clean of resin(from the gauss to the end of the pipe that is connected to the main chamber) and pop it back in to smoke again - its a really nice highonce you get past the flav.

Yes i do smoke resin, and i love it. I think the taste is great and the high is excelent. The only problem is that when you come down you come down hard. I at least fall asleep after being high on resin (really high), or i'll get tired.

A good way to mask some of the taste of resin is to break up weed real fine, and roll the resin ball around in it, then smoke it.

swim never scrapes his pipes, but when they break


they get the hell scraped out of them....once got 7.2 grams out of a piece! swim had it for like 2 years before that tho..


swim will smoke resin, but doenst particularly enjoy it, haha prolly just from bein pissed the pipe is broke tho....seems like the high doesnt last very long and tends to be more "headachey" for lack of a better term.

I know what your saying with the "headachey" high. I tend to find that i'll be retardedly stoned for a lil bit and then the begining of the comedown i get the headache and want to go to sleep to make it go away. 7.2 grams now that is a nice sized resin ball.

I only scrape my pieces when i dont have anything and i cant get anything. I have friends who will smoke out of a bowl like 5 times and want to scrape it. I know scrape what? but what ever their ignorance makes me laugh. The biggest ball of resin i had was ~3 grams, smoked in 2 sittings both times alone... it was enjoyable.

What else do u want to know metal? we'll all point you in the right direction.

thats actually really funny because once i was putting shake into the carb of my bowl for about a month under the belief that somedaymy piecewould break and it would have little chunks of green bud mixed in with the resin....


however swim ended up dry about a month later and the first thing he did was smoke the green weed out through the carb.....damn now i regret it.


and the 7.2 gram resin ball, the most amazing thing was how long in burned! it was onlya fewfat bowls, but it burnt for about 5 hours!! and there were a couple people around so it wasnt parked most of the time or anything, towards the end it got wierd tho it was like brown crumbly ash or something, hard to describe......even harder to tell when it was cashed.


ona sidenote i wonder if that brown crumbly ash was effectively the resin fromresin? and if so i wonder if the thc count in it went down or up from theoriginal resin...

7.2 grams!! Holy shit! Haha that's a huge resin ball. I love smoking
resin though. It feels like more of a "dirty" high to me. Like Muirner
said, I feel retardedly high for a little bit and I also sometimes get
a headache on the comedown. Do any of you have chamber pipes? OMG I
love smoking the bud out of those. I'm sure you all know what they are,
but if not, then they are usually just small pipes that have a pretty
fat "chamber" between where you inhale and the bowl. It unscrews and
you can pack a nice fat bud in there. Then just smoke out of the pipe
like you normally would for a couple weeks or something. Then, unscrew
the chamber and pull out the bud that you stuck in there awhile ago and
you have the most resinated piece of weed you have ever seen. That
thing will get you stoned OUT OF YOUR MIND!! It's crazy.

i have a just a glass spoon that my friend got me from hookahvill for a cheap ass price. but it sucks threw i think its how i hit it but i hate hwne t sucks threw this is the 3rd glass piece ive had that sucks through finally i got tired of it and put a paper towl rolled up in the end of where u hit off of jus kinda jammed like inside the pipe and u jus dig it out w/ a paper clip and it colletcs mad resin from the paper towl to the bowl like the whole chamber of the pipe jus gets caked in rezin. and i always throw pieces of green in the bowl and when i scrape it iget such a nice rezin ball its good rezin to ihad a resin ball that got me high 10 times. and i think it hits smoother with the filter. but if the pipes were dsiegned correct the indent for the bowl would go down fateer down like the (V)=== like see thow the tip of the v comes down if itd come down and like hit the piece ist suppose to cacth on it wouldnet shoot. but i dont ever empy my bowl either you dont have to it will just finally suck down in to the bottom of a bowl and you will still get smoke till theres nothing left

Not sure about the chemistry but I think pipe scrapings contain more of the chemicals such as CBN and CBD, rather than THC. They tend to make you sleepy and hungry rather that high like THC. I can't help thinking that there must also be a lot of carcinogens in there, as they are caused by burning- and burning twice....

yea u can scrape glass pipes,swim uses a pocket knife blade for the bowl and a paperclip for thestem and inside of the bowl. swim like a lot of people here only smokes resin when they are out of bud.swim thinksits agreat high

Just earn some money and buy some more herb. Smoking resin is disgusting. It tastes horrible and isn't too healthy for your lungs and body. It is full or carcinogens.

Another thing u can do is, instead of collecting a 'resin ball' is to smear the resin on a rolling paper as you clean your peice. Roll up a fatty and get the extra punch,or if you are out of stash just roll up a little tobacco and u can still get a buzz.

How do u know this for real? I can understand the speculation but i dont understand the certenty. What about the bowls that have a special chamber that the smoke passes by and the smoke goes throught the weed to collect resin on it. Tar from MJ is bad, but it's inconclusive whether tobacco tar or MJ tar is worse. They have varying levels of the chemicals that are bad for you, but I've heard more often that marijuana tar is not ar bad

Resin is not particularly harsh to smoke. But if the pipe has ben used for a while it can get you high. Also the resin can help add to the high when smoked with weed.

many varieties of cigarettes dont have chemicals added to them, for
example nat shermans and natural american spirits, but are they better
for you? when you break it down, tobacco plants have 1.) plant matter
and 2.) alkaloids in them. break down marijuana the same way and what
do you get? 1.) plant matter and 2.) alkaloids. now i'm not saying that
I know exaclty what is in either plant, but think about it. if you
smoke anything, it's smoke. it's gonna gum up and collect into tar.
don't act like marijuana tar isn't just as bad for you as tobacco tar.
who's to say that the additives in cigarettes collect to become tar
anyway? maybe they burn up and escape as gases.

IMO the horrible taste of resin is not worth getting
high over. Even honey oils make me Khag, but
they're better than resin.

Honey oils (or hash) in a joint only make the bud in
the back end of the joint clog full of resin long before
your joint is actually a roach.

Maybe you can trade your resin balls for some bud?

Fresh bud, or fresh hash are about as good as it
gets.

If youre smoking hash, I recommend that you do it
through a clean pipe, or just clean your pipe out first
(a steel chromed pipe can be cleaned out with a
rifle-bore brush and superheated with a poropane
torch to burn off any remaining gunk).

If you're smoking joints, they can be cut into sections
(making mini-joints) so you will always get a fresh hit
when you want to put on a buzz, instead of having to

What I have is a stash pipe. Pretty much it has two places to put weed,
one at the end of the pipe and one in the middle section. As you smoke
the end part's weed, the smoke goes through the middle part, and resin
builds up in your stash. Me and my friend left the middle section full
for a couple of weeks of smoking like 5 or 6 times per day, refilling
the end part but not the middle. When we looked inside the "stash" part
it was black and gold... And boy, oh boy, was it ever so nice...
