in Belgium we do it like this:
we put some cocaine on a spoon and mix it with amoniac, then we burn it untill we see that the water is bubbeling, then we take out the amoniak with something, then we do water with the cocaine to burn out the bad things that amoniak had added to the cocaine. than we do the water out of the spoon and wait untill the cocaine is dry, when it's dry we just smoke it
Silonco, theyre talking about trying to seperate powder cocaine from its cut with a result of pure cocaine hcl to snort. I could be wrong but since you said you smoke it after I think you're talking about making freebase. That's a whole different thing. What the original poster described isn't to make basa. As far as if your method is good or not, i don't know sincei've gotno personal experience making that. Try doing a search for it though, cause I think there's a post around here somewherethat says how to make base. Or maybe I saw that on erowid, i'd check there too.
I read what everybody's point of view was on this and I agree the acetone would be hazardous to your health if sniffed. But, what if you purify it that way, then turn it into freebase? I bet you would have a pretty powerful hit of rock. Also, isn't acetone the way tweekers purify their dope? I know people who do this and they seem fine to me. I even had them read this and they aren't detered from doing it at all.
The acetone wash doesnt work if the coke has been cut with creatine because that too is insoluble in acetone so there goes that theory of purifying your coke
and listen, the reason chemists use acetone to clean off their
glassware is that the acetone evaporates very quickly at room
temperature. once you rinse it with acetone, within hours... it is all
evaporated. you arent inhaling it as long as you give it time to dry.
listen all of you don't no what you are saying acetone is the number one thing you use when cutting cocaine it re rocks the cocaine into blocks after cutting it
What about filling up a shot glass with amonia place "product" in glass the "cut" should float to the top the "product" will form a thick paste in the bottom, using an object remove the pastewash with distilled water and dry out then place the product into a shot glass of muratic acid then filter the product onto pyrex or ceramic plate let dry, should work right ?
Ok, Cocoaine HCL is slightly soluble in acetone. Some solvents are better then others, and acetone blows. Meth/PSE is slightly soluble in acetone. Add oven baked epsom salts to the can (to suk up water) and cool in fridge before use. That should make it dissolve little to no Cocaine...but less cut also.
if you let the coke dry for lets say a day/2 there shouldnt be any acetone left on the cocaine correct? Or can small amounts of acetone bind with coke?

Well yeah, it's fine if smoking it is what you planned on doing...
SWIM rarely or never smokes anymore. Five minute highs just ain't much fun, particularly considering the type of comedown you have to put up with afterward (hint for those who never tried it -- it approaches crystal meth in its unpleasantness and the jones is a lot worse).Edited by: Nicaine
SWIM has been getting some crappy white lately that left him brutally congested and in some pain. So he tried the Acetone wash described at the beginning of this thread.
Unbelievable. While he was extremely to turn his 8-ball into a 2.2, the end result was wonderful -- a much cleaner high, no pain, minimal congestion in the a.m.
The caveats (see Boss above) were a little difficult to get past, but SWIM let it really dry out, and the end seemed to justify the means.
Given the fact that re-rocking powder with acetone is widespread, it's hard to believe the stuff is so dangerous after it evaporates. Most of the cola SWIM gets that's rocky tastes like acetone. Willing to bet most people here also get that acetone taste quite often.
Ok so let me get this straight.. If I were to put lets say 3/4 of a gram into a shot glass with about an inch of acetone in it the cocaine should not desolve correct? If I were to use more acetone the cocaine could desolve? If so the amount of acetone you use would be considered on the amount of cocaine correcT?
After doing a little bit of researching I have came across many posts saying that cocaine is soluble in acetone.. I don't see how this works..Edited by: Bwen

Many people claim the acetone wash works for purifying cocaine..but according to the internet cocaine is soluble in acetone. If this wash actually works then the adulterants need less acetone to disolve while the cocaine needs more? If this is true does a small amount of cocaine disolve or is there a specific amount that is needed before disolving can happen?
I have read that and have posted in that topic...but I have done alot of searching on google and they all claim cocaine is soluble in acetone
The MERCK-Index tells that one gram of cocaine hydrochloride dissolves in 0,4 ml water 3,6 ml of alcohol and in 12,5 ml chloroform. Soluble in glycerol and acetone. Insoluble in ether and oils.Edited by: Bwen
