Advice on small fresh poppies from UK

Hi all

I've decided i can't wait any longer for these pods to grow so ive picked a few and i want to make a brew with some fresh ones.
Normally i used dried pods and 8 hen n chicks will give me a good high.

Can anyone say roughly how much i should be taking?

I have 6 that are the size of a 20p coin and several smaller ones.

Also should i just finely chop them and take out the seeds?
