SwiTea has noticed that a foaf gets sleepy eyes, and dozes off here and there a bit, repeats the same conversation, can't remember something said or where something is even though it was 5 or 10 minutes prior, uhm and itty-bitty pupils. SwiTea thinks it's pretty obvious. SwiTea can't say what foaf would or wouldn't do, foaf just chills out, watches telly, listens to music, nothing too noteworthy really.

Very small pupils and red eyes, itching all aver the body, falling a sleep or drifting in and out of sleep. And trowing up (thats what swim used to do and then smoke more, feeling good after trowing up) Also a slurred a slurred speech.

All depends on how much someone has taken and if he/she been a (long time) user. Also when people IV they sometimes fall over. Even with smoking enough someone can be falling all over the place.

swim definately would agree about the the pinned pupils,is usually a giveaway.

Pinpoint pupils are a dead give away to someone on an opiate as well as extreme itching, flushing of the skin, slowed respiration, vomiting, constipation, droopy or sleepy eyes, hyperhidrosis, and trackmarks(if the user shoots up).

Pin dot pupils (I have an excuse though I'm a chronic pain patient on fentanyl and dilaudid, i'm aloud to have pin dots), trackmarks, strong smell of vinegar on there breath if they smoke it (ive been caught this way lol), nodding out, slurred speach, repeating the same conversation, spending ALONG time in the bathroom, frequently disapearing to the bathroom for long periods of time, itching, consistently getting the "flu" AKA withdrawals, always disapearing to run an errand alone AKA meeting there dealer which they have to do alot, etc.

Also If your a female I know how my girlfriend could always figure it out before I was in a pain management clinic and had an excuse. We would be having sex for like 45 min. and I still wouldn't cum. I can't seem to cum on high doses of opiates and It's a pretty common problem for most. So If you rman usually busts his load in 15 min and all the sudden he's superman and pounding away 45 min. later and can't cum that might be a give away too.

Swim agrees, 'dope dick' was always a dead give away to his girlfriends. He was on opioids in one form or another all the time, but he was also smoking weed or doing other drugs frequently, so the only times they could really tell if swim was good and fucked up on heroin or some other strong opioid would be if he couldn't cum or got really itchy, particularly on his nose. Also, sometimes his voice apparently got deeper and/or slower.

When swim was with his first proper girlfriend when he and she was about 14/15 years old. She was aware that swim had a heroine habit from the age of 13 and he (like all addicts do) promised to stop. Now she knows swim couldn't cum when he was on heroine so if she tried to have sex with him and he didn't want to... She knew that he had been using, as swim always wanted sex ! Except when he had used as she told him she will leave him if he didn't stop. Eventuality she left him as swim didn't stop, that was the first girlfriend swim lost to drugs.. Many followed later and there will probably more.

Just the other day I was surfing through Youtube looking for drug vids. There are quite a few of people recording folks on some major, major nods in public places. In most cases the people who are recording such vids are doing it for a cheap laugh so i didnt even think of posting the links. I won't now either, but if you want to see what a nod looks like they are easy to find.

After a while, you can tell a long term daily addict, who has really had to struggle, from other types of addicts as well.

Pasty, dark eyes with a great deal of pain in them, which hits you in a glance. Something which causes an especially bizarre contrast when they are high: as though their face is set in this expression of artificial, dazed happiness; their eyes like a sated predator, but the corners of their mouth slightly pulled up in a subtle but intense expression, similar to the look of a sadist with victim, anticipating the manifold possibilities of the brief and joyous future; a puzzling look considering their apex of joy has already passed - but through all this you can still see the extreme pain under this mask of momentary pleasure and contradictory expressions. The heroin puppet master, in so many ways, pulling their entire body, their facial muscles into their never changing look and form of bliss - one that completely disregards the horrors of the past and the guaranteed torment of the future. Except, that is, to those who recognize that glint in the center of their eye. There's a certain overall slowness to the long term addict, a particular way they hold themselves and their head, like the weight of the world is on their shoulders, and that they don't really care to do whatever it is they are doing, be it as simple as walking a short distance from point A to point B. Provided they have had enough heroin, they don't really care enough not to care, or, that is to say, they don't care in the most passive way imaginable. As the heroin wears, the scale tips slowly towards universal negativity regardless of the situation. Another you can plainly see: Mouth pouted in a permanent frown. Cute, to me. Despite this sad little frown, childlike, as their emotions, a serene relaxation in their face and voice provided they have used recently, and have a warm blanket, which is possession of another shot for later. Finally, one can certainly tell them with a simple test: mention heroin and note the reaction - you will know them by an immediate shiver of happiness throughout their body, an uncontrollable giddiness, and a broad smile that is filled with genuine warmth, perhaps the last of it they have.

When on heroin it does seem to slur the speech and some this seems to be an almost permanent thing. Pacman knows some addicts and he swears they talk like they are brain damaged. He just hopes to christ that he doesn't sound that way.

Pin point pupils are the biggest give away and also the glazed over look in the eye and a look of almost not being there. Kinda a dead look like they are looking straight through you.

If totally smacked up they will be falling asleep (nodding) and with pacman he finds a lot he will jerk awake while nodding rather violently.

Yeah well even older men that were on drugs back in the day speak like this and swim feels like clicking my fingers in their faces or knocking them on the head "mcfly is there anybody there". swim feels she speaks quite quick sometimes and obviously with a scottish accent lol "lorraine kelly" swim personally feels that these old men have been out their face sooo long that they have permanently damaged their brains which in turn fucks up their speech.
