can iv'ing of pills (oxy) be made safe long term?

swim loves his oxys and uses them in an iv fashion more often than not. he has had one close person pass away due years of using and catching pnuemonia due to the talc in lungs building up etc and another in the US with the exact same condition it appears, both with about 10 years usage but the 2nd person has stopped and seems to be recovering...

anyways in australia we medicinal filters, they connect to a barrel, the ones u screw tips onto and push the liquid thru the filter into something clean...
they come in different ratings, in how many microns they filter or let thru, but the best ones filter out bacteria even and some blood borne diseases to an extent,
so was wondering , wouldnt this be a safe way to iv pills then in regard to all the insolubles in them? the liquid always comes out crystal clear, even compared to filtering with cotton twice!

any opinions?
but this way i do not see any detrimental long term effects associated with pill fillers and binders
