Other - Help Please-Anti depressants

Hi,
I seem to be in a little mess.
About 6 years ago I had a breakdown.It took about 6 months to get right with the help of counsellors, psychatrists and anti depressents(escitalopram).
Since then i have been solid as a rock and understand i have to sat on the meds.
One time I tried to come off the meds but it didnt work so well, so i went back on them.

Now i am worried, i have had problems at work, i am worried about me and my dog having to leave my home beacsue of compliants.I havnt slept much in four weeks. and have had girlfriend problems.(Not with her- just problems geting to see ehr, because i live away from home.

I am feeling pretty low, something i didnt think possible when on anti depressents and i dont understand it.

I was having bad nerves so my doctor here in korea, gave me some Xanax ans something else whicj i have now stopped. Maybe i shouldnt of taken the extra meds?

So i guess my question is...
Is it possible to go through down periods even when im on anti deppressents?
