Drug info - How long will psilocybe semilanceata mushrooms stay fresh after picking?

SWIM's gonna trip on saturday afternoon, but he wants to eat the shrooms fresh cos the effect's more likely. He knows a very near place full of Semilanceata. The problem is the following: how many days could nearly 180 Semilanceata remain fresh? How should SWIM conserve them for keep them fresh?
SWIM asks you that cos he doesn't know if the shrooms will be still alive on Friday, and it wolud be better for SWIM to pick them today or at last tomorrow...

10 - 14 grams fresh liberty caps are a dose. The length of time that they stay good is also depending upon how carefull they are treated. Liberty caps go mushy quite fast when bruised. If stored in a dark, cool place around 2 degrees celcius, they stay fresh for at least 5 days. The best way to stored them for longer than that is dried.
