Addiction - Best substitute for heroin?

Swim is not in his home town and his stash is almost gone but he cant go home for a few more days. Swim can get lots of different RX Pain pills and he is wondering if anyone knows what would be the best opiate pain pill to combat withdrawls...????
Any of you swimmers have an opinion swim would love to know what it is!!!

Depends on what roa swim wants to use and if he wants to get high or just stay well.

If it's the later I'd go with done.

Swim's habit as of a couple of weeks ago was 2g of H every day. He has since been on suboxone though for about 3 weeks. He has been getting high still though. For the last week or two He has been shooting up about .5g a day.
Of course swim likes to get high but his main concern is staying well. Methadone may not be an option as to where he is located right now. Plus when he gets home he will be going back on his suboxone so he is not sure he wants to use something like methadone due to its really long half life. Swim was wondering if Oxycontin would hold them at bay and still make him feel "nice"? Or if like Morphine would be better...

Either will work if swiy takes a suitable dose.Swim would go with the M because it should work out cheaper.

What would swiy think a correct dose of morphine would be for someone like swim? Taking into consideration what was in my last post

I'm sorry,but this is totally subjective,but I'd start by using 1.5m-to 1H.Check with online doseage converters,but I think it's 1h=2m.So,double dose basically.However I wouldn't start by shooting twice as much at a time.

Check all this PLEASE because,as I say,even if my maths is right there's quite a bit of difference between folks.

Swim doesnt really do prescription pain pills really. What would the equivilant of a .2g shot of heroin be in morphine? The morphine comes in mg and the H in grams. Would swim treat them as the same thing?

1,000 mgs to the g.I'm guessing swim is using tar and I have no idea how pure the tar is.If it's 100% pure h(which it obviously isn't) it works out at 1g of h is 2gs of m.

Swiy should be able to work it out from there.

and for god's sake be careful and if in any doubt START small.

To get the equivalent dosage in whatever pill Swiy'd use, Swivy recommends googling an opiate equivalency chart that includes heroin (diacetylmorphine). This site is very informative and interesting too. Hope this helps a little.

Nobody knows how much Dia-Morphine is inside the Heroin,
this means to give swiny a ca. Dose is impossible!

Swim would say morphine,Oxycontin or fentanyl but the rush will not be as good as heroin but least swiy will still have a strong high.

People have partly mentioned this already, but I wanted to say it explicitely so there is no confusion:

PLEASE REMEMBER that the conversion won't be 2:1 of the weight Swiy is using, because the H isn't pure. Swiy needs to find out the estimated purity in his area and take the lowest estimate to be on the safe side, and then use that for the conversion.

For example in the UK purity varies from 20% - 80%, so Swie would assume it is 20% pure. 2g of H would then become 0.4g of H.

fentanyl or dilaudid will both hold you just fine, swims used those when out of heroin with good results.

swims never felt a high from oxys but they do keep the sickness away.

like others have said, it's impossible to give swiy an exact dose to take but if swiy starts off with a small amount then goes up in small increments until you are well, that should be the safest and best route to take.

Hydromorphone would be the best for an i.V. habit.

Try and get some oxycontin, I think this is the closest thing to heroin.

best to hold on tight and give quitting a honest try. but fentanyl is one of the strongest available in a pharmacy. otherwise any clinic should same-day-dose with at least 40 mg methadone or its equivalent in suboxone. be vigilant as we make poor decisions when feeling sick and only worsen matters. stay away from the asprin/tylenol based gimmicks, livers and kidneys will object. it'll all work itself out. but if its the time to let go, feel free to write for a few opinions to make it bearable.

Honestly moving to Boise, ID where i can't get heroin if I payed 1 million dollars for it I've found that the fact i've been prescribed 180 4mg Dilaudid (Hydromorphone) pills has worked out just fine to replace an IV H habit. Personally the rush from 8mg's of Hydromorphone is better then any Heroin shot i've EVER had. Problem is the Hydromorphone high ends so fast. Strong rush for a few minutes and then a subtle high for maybe an hour and your fiending for another. I'm legally prescribed 6, 4mg Hydromorphone pills a day so for me It could actually be viable because it only cost $10 to get a months worse. If you weren't a chronic pain patient though and had to buy them you would spend ALOT of money on hydromorphone to stay happy. Hands down it's the BEST RX for IVing though. It's the king of hospital heroin to shoot.

Although swim did replace heroin with morhine to begin with,after a couple weeks of that,just got sick of seeing all the different kinds ext...like ms contin ect...everything tha wasent instant release sucked balls,after blowing money on shitty morphine moved onto somthing new,that swim has never tried before...
Friends told me the could get hydromophone,so swim started reading up on them,everything he could find,and found that they mix very, very easly with water...
The first time was so amazing!
It blew away everything and anything swim has ever shot up in the last couple years since swim started booting ect...but the first time even with just 2mg of hydromorphone it sent a wave through my body,very fast...strating in the chest area and flowing threw the hole body with power to spare...
After the first time swim was hooked,havent seen anything come close to hydromorphone yet,maybe some day swim will,but for now....he is content
