Familiar with tablets, but capsules?? CWE?

Can a CWE be performed on capsules? SWIM has Paracodol capsules containing 8mg Codeine Phosphate and 500mg Paracetamol. Inactive include shellac, titanium dioxide and magnesium stearate (amongst others SWIM forgot).

If SWIM were to empty content of capsule into water and do a CWE as normal, would the Paractemol still successfully extract?
