Drug info - Cold Water Extraction (CWE)

I did a method of Cold Water Extraction and got the final product, my question is, how do I know if I got most of the apap out/absorbed the hydrocodone (in the water). Does doing CWE Not let the hydrocodone in the solution settle? Well, here is what I did. 1. Crushed pills (16) 5/500 of course. 2. Put is in warm water (3/4 cup) and shook till it was a completely mixed solution. 3. Put it in my freezer, in the ice box in a plastic gator aid bottle with the lid off. 4. Waited till it was 46 degrees Fahrenheit 5. Strained it 3 times through coffee filters. 6. Viola, I have 3/4 a cup of this milky white solution. The problem lies in does hydrocodone settle like apap does? If so, does it have a different texture then apap, meaning is it light/more compact, does it float freely in the liquid rather then settle abruptly, etc...
