Arrow Quick Mimosa question

Is Mimosa Hostilis the only DMT containing plant of the Mimosa group? What would happen if SWIM brewed a tea from the root of a strain of mimosa that is native to North Carolina? I understand that without an MAOI our bodies destroy the DMT before we can have fun with it, but do you feel anything without an MAOI, because I have heard tell of people feeling sedated and relaxed after drinking said tea without an MAOI, and I understand that it most likely has nothing to do with the DMT.

I suppose that the bottomline is that if SWIM brewed this tea, or ingested it somehow(without an MAOI) would SWIM feel anything?(keep in mind this is the strain of Mimosa from North Carolina.)

Any help would be greatly appreciated.
