Smoking - best way to scrape a tutor?

To everyone that smokes their heroin, how do you scrape your tutors!? With oxy it's simple cause it's just powder that scrapes off easy, but with the H it's just really gooey and wet you know? Im just curious on a good method to remove the resin from inside a tutor to be used again.

SWIM heats gently at each end until the blob from each end runs to the middle to make one bigger blob.
The big blob can then should be left to dry, then be picked off and put on a new piece of freshly burned foil. (It needn't be as big a a usual length of foil). AND- HEY PRESTO a new bit ready to smoke. This smoke tends to be a bit stronger than 'normal' heroin running on the foil and it also seems to burn a lot more lines.

Why would anyone use a plastic tooter? That is just silly now isn't it, a tooter should be made from tinfoil then you smoke it after a few bags have been used with it,simple as that. Scraping a plastic tooter, good luck with that and enjoy plastic fumes.

Get a rectangle of tinfoil, burn the shite off it, fold in the edges (length way first then width) and use a pen or something to roll it round and if need be, secure it with a cigarette paper.

Plastic tooters, never did understand that, seems to be an American thing.

Gotta say that plastic tooters are a bit of a daft idea.

SWIM uses a pyrex tube for a tutor. Usually he puts hot water or alcohol (just a little bit) in the tutor, puts his fingers over both ends and shakes it for a minute or 2. Dumps out the drop of water which now has all the H in it, dumps it into a spoon or onto foil. If he dumps it onto a spoon he sniffs the liquid, if he dumps it onto foil he dries it and smokes it. Its hard to smoke it if swiy uses water, but if swiy cleans the tutor with alcohol he's heard you can just light the alcohol on fire and it burns away instantly. He hasn't tried it yet.

Holy shit dude. SWIM just did what you were suggesting, but with his glass tutor. He's had resin saved up for a really long time, and his once clear glass tutor was completely black, with thick, liquidy looking globs of resin on the sides. He melted it down from one side into the middle, and then to the other. Then he pushed it out with a paper clip (he didn't think it worked he thought he burnt up all his resin). But then a FAT round piece fell out onto his foil. He was like "omg I hope thats not ash, I hope that smokes". And sure enough, it smoked just like a fat ass bowl. He and his girlfriend got several hits off it. It was very harsh, but it smoked really well (made a lot of smoke). And was actually pretty strong. SWIM and his girlfriend were both beginning to withdrawal, and now they're chillin, feeling good and pin eyed. Thanks!

The foil tube is THE way to go as stated, because SWIY will not waste any precious gear!!... however, there are times when foil is not to hand and other material must be used, such as a rolled bank note or a piece of card, if SWIY end up smoking a fair amount through the card, all is not lost!! SWIY cant burn the card to vapourise the residue left but keep it till SWIY have some foil and if SWIY unravell the card tube, wrap a piece of foil over the area with heroin on it so covering both sides of the card, heat the foil in the area where there is gear making sure the foil is in contact with the card and the heroin will melt and it will transfer onto the foil and can then be smoked!! A Greek dude showed me how to do it and its not the best but it does work.....saves just throwing it away.

Ooo thats a good idea , but SWIMS never had to use a card or dollar or anything to smoke.

SWIM is thrilled about learning the tip about melting down his tutor into a bowl, kind of like a meth pipe. That was the greatest heroin related tip he's ever got.

SWIM recommends every smoker switch to a glass tutor for that reason!

Although the person that suggested it was talking about a foil tutor, it worked amazingly with SWIMs glass one.

It did, but swim solved that by getting one of those little rubber pencil/pen gripper things, cutting a little less then half of it and putting that piece on the end of his tube. It fit perfectly over the end of SWIMs tube, it stays there very securely.
It also kept the tube from falling out of SWIMs mouth, since it was a lot heavier and he wasn't used to it at first.

Oh, its technically a pyrex tube. I don't know if that makes any difference.

Oh yeah think pyrex is pretty hard to break isn't it. I wonder if the inventor of pyrex knew they would be helping addicts get high on smack with their invention?

Oh I know.
I haven't heard of many people using pyrex for smoking tar, but SWIM definitely does, so SWIM thanks the inventor of pyrex for getting him high and helping keep the sickness away daily.
Whoever made pyrex has helped out lotsa tweekers too

You mentioned pyrex is hard to break, which is true from what I've heard, but that reminds me... SWIMs pyrex tutor broke after dropping it once. It was after he'd heated it up to melt down the resin to push it out. He had only heated up the very end then sat the tutor down and it fell on the floor, and the end part he heated up was the only part that broke. So I think maybe pyrex does break after its been exposed to lots of heat. So while melting down a glass tutor is a good way to scrape it, apparently it weakens it quite a bit too.

Seems like everyone jumped off topic in this thread. I asked which is an easy way to scrape your tooter? Yes, a plastic tooter.

Im aware that foil/pyrex/glass would all be better to use, but I put too many bags through this tooter to just throw it out. Guess the only way to do so is using a paper clip.

Yea but swim thinks the suggestion is that if swiy used a foil tooter swiy could use the same one every day for a month, unfold it and smoke the gear that has been caught. Safer than plastic too.

SWIM has done this before and knows how much of a good idea it is, except for the fact that foil tooters are way to fragile.

But the point of this thread was asking for advice on how to scrape the plastic tooter I have, not what I should be using for a tooter.

Don't get me wrong, I appreciate everyones help and two cents, but these are not the answers I am looking for!

Well to answer your question then, when SWIM used a plastic one, SWIM put his finger over one end, put a drop or 2 of hot water in, covered the other end with his other finger and shook it for a minute. All the resin got mixed into the water and swim dumped it out onto foil and either snorted it, or dried up the water and smoked it.

Apparently instead of water you can use alcohol and then light the alcohol on fire after its dumped on the foil and it will burn away easily.

To answer your question about the pyrex tube, those on the picture look like downstems for weed bongs. What SWIM uses is kinda like that except his doesn't get wider on the end. Its more of a crack pipe.

SWIM just used alchohol to clean SWIMS tooter, which is now spotless. SWIM dumped all the brown like alchohol onto the foil which is now outside to evaporate. SWIM came here to ask if SWIM is able to just light underneat the foil to evaporate the alchohol faster. After reading the quoted line, SWIM now knows he is able to do that but is wondering if it will burn away the good heroin resin?

OK, so SWIM just (what seemed like) burned away the alcohol from the foil. And now whats left is the brown layer of what still looks like liquid. SWIM wants to know if it is OK to smoke it right after he just burned away the alcohol?

With a plastic tooter is impossible to melt the gear inside without melting plastic too. Could maybe put some boiling water down there but then SWIY have the trouble of drying it out

use a stanley blade as heating it will wreck it so i dont know??? use a razor or somethin'!!! its not really much of a question....and SWIM wouldnt be using a plastic tube again.

why would any smoker of heroin want to go through this process when just by using a foil tube SWIY could save all the trouble of cleaning with alcohol then waiting for evapouration, because using foil means SWIY can just unravell it and SWIY'r good to go!! that advice is helpful for smokers.

Foil tutors don't hold up that well, and SWIM doesn't have to smoke resin all that often. So a glass tutor works great for SWIM because he can save up his resin for weeks or months at a time.
If he tried to use a foil tutor for that long I'm sure it would end up getting destroyed in his pocket or something.

Thats why SWIM prefers glass or even plastic over foil.

Yeah. SWIM usually manages to go weeks at a time without getting sick. So with his trusty glass tutor, all the shit builds up that he smokes. usually at least .4 passes through the tutor each day, often more than that. He'll sometimes go a month without cleaning it.

Then, one day when he's sick and can't find anything, he can clean out his tutor using one of the many methods mentioned in this thread, and there will be enough for he and his girlfriend both to feel better, at least for long enough to get them out of bed and finding money.
His favorite method now is melting down the tutor. Got him such a huge bowl. It smoked way better than when he rinsed his tutor out with water and evaporated the water, or snorted it. And it worked way better than scraping it.
