Opinions - Is Swim doing this right ? ( pics included )

Swim is a noob to CWE
So he starts of with small amounts ( see if he's allergic, first reactions...etc. )

Swim has a bunch of Tylenol 1's. ( 300 para, 8 mg Codeine, 15 caffeine )
Swim has used 4 this time = 1200 Para Total.
Swim doesnt know how much water he used, just guesstimated.
Sorry swim has no pics of the first few steps just the end result .

So swim did the CWE , but the solution was alittle cloudy , but you could see through the bottom of the glass around 75%.
Swim used generic brand coffee filters JUST ONCE.

and this is what was left after all the liquid was gone and the gunk remained ( he took it off the filter so swiys can see it better )
oh and swim rolled up the gunk into a ball just for the heck of things

So is this a good amount of trash that should be extracted from those 4 pills ? can anyone predict/tell how much codeine swim missed or any other observations ??

Oh swim forgot to add that he felt a light buzz which lasted for no more than 1 hr 20min.

It looks about right, get some scales and weigh it to be sure.

Its always gonna be a little cloudy, just follow the directions for CWE and you will be fine, also 4 pills wont do anything, you need at least 100mg to feel anything good.

It should never be cloudy, in fact if you want to have minimal "gunk" it should look really clear. Also, he used only 4 pills to make sure there was no allergic reaction

SWIM leaves the solution in the fridge with a couple ice cubes for at least 2 hours but the main thing is that the powder should sit on the bottom and the rest should be very clear.

he did everything else fine but might want to read into activated carbon filtration to remove excess junk and caffeine

In my Daleks opinion. After 2 filtrations (using 2 filters and a paper towel each time) His water is still a little cloudy.

My Dalek would shine a light through the cloudy solution it to see how concentrated it is. If you can see through it fairly well then it should be ok. if not another filter should be done.


He also likes to add if you can visibly see pieces on the bottom of the glass you should seriously consider refiltering.
