Eating food AFTER Injesting codeine

This might be a weird question, but since the CWE is so bitter , swim usually has some food laying around to get rid of the bitterness after downing the CWE Liquid .

Is this a good idea?
As in, can it potentiate nausea ? OR
Will it diminish the effects of the codeine on the system?

( swim knows eating beforehand can cut some of the desired effects short with codeine..., but what about after ?)

Swim just did a CWE , and as soon as he downed the liquid , he also downed some icecream . ( Chunky Monkey to be exact

)
