Im not to sure but far as I know it is rare for someone to be prescribed MAOI's because of the large risk, I had a teacher who had taken them for depression and he said they almost killed him and that they really mess up your brains chemicals, so i am doubtful that they are but you should check out there sites they might have info

Best to look them up on the internet. Just type them into any search engine and you should get a response that will tell you in like 2 min. max. Each of those med's has there own web site by the companies that make them. As far as I know ssri's are perscribed now instead of maoi's because of the large risk of side effects. It's not good/ real safe to take e with ssri's either but its safer then with maoi's. Extacy is consdider a ssri by many because of the action it has, but I really don't consider it to be one.

MDMA is not an MAOI, nor is any other drug on that list. She is in no risk of dieing, but i have heard that being on SSRI's (Prozac in your case) for awile really reduces MDMA experances, pending on drug, person, and dose.

Re: How do i figure out what drugs are maois?
MAOI's are rare these days because of how badly they mess you up. SSRI's (prozac, zoloft, lexapro, ect...) increase the activity of the neurotransmitters that take up serotonin. 3,4-methylenedioxymethamphetamine (MDMA, active ingredient in Extacy) stimulates the synthesis of serotonin. So, I guess that they MIGHT led to serotonin syndrome or something worse. I do know that taking SSRI's produces long-lasting protection against MDMA-induced neurodegeneration.
