What kind of gear are people seeing going about the UK recently? My fiend has seen some of this really dark powder and when it's cooked up it's almost black in the pan and the barrel, what do we think of the quality of this stuff?

The other gear is a bit lighter in colour both in powder and in the barrel and it's clear too unlike the really dark shit. This stuff seems to be really decent gear but my fiend is not too sure about the much darker stuff.

Swims sat next to me now with his foil, kit he's been getting has been of a consistent standard now for about 3 months. Swim has a baby habit smokes mostly, except for the friday night treat but shot a bag of this gear yesterday and woohoo - lovely! a one bagel dig never works a treat like that bad boy!!
He wouldn't describe it as dark OR clear, 'normal' is what he'd call it?

Not particularly dark stuff or particular light stuff at the mo. Just light brown in the pin

swim's stuff is usually light brown but recently got some better quality stuff, very very light brown colour and a clear smell of poppies, seems a lot cleaner than usual

Swim is in central Scotland. SWIMers up here have just got shot of the 'really' dark in the pin gear. Thank fcuk. Gear SWIMs gettin' now is typical dark honey colour and gives a very tight feeling to skin on hands and feet and extreme pins and needles. Very much like injecting MST. Suspect high morphine content.

Is best SWIM has seen in a while.

SWIM's gear at the mo is really light in colour and its got some kind of crap in it that when SWIY run the first line, it leaves loads of bits which are hard but brush off the foil with ease, after this first line it is clean as fuck, runs real well and has SWIM gouchin' hard!! SWIM is in the West Midlands and has been getting this gear for a couple of weeks now....

Swim's near the NW England/N Wales border, (So most stuff is comming from Liverpool, a bit from Brum and Manchester.)

At the mo, there's a lot of fairly light, what we've always called "scabby" gear- where it dries kind of frosty and not at all shiny on the foil. That's so so.

We've also had some pretty dark brown with a grayish hue that's very granular- almost seems the consistency of instant coffee. That stuff has been pretty strong.

SWIM has always been curious as to what you describe as "scabby" or "frosty" heroin is cut with.

Does anyone know?

SWIM has heard speculation that it is cut with some kind of crushed OTC tablets. SWIM tells me that the forsty heroin has a distinctive bitter taste and seems to run differently when he smokes it on foil. He says the cut and the gear seem to move at different rates/speeds when running on the foil.

SWIM is concerned as to what this is as it may be unsuitable/more damaging to smoke than clean gear.

SWIM tells me that this cut appears to sometimes to be done at the street level but also at a high level as some of this "frosty" gear is "rock" so SWIM thinks it must be cut and repressed / compressed into solid rock by high level suppliers.

Does anyone have any views / ideas on this?

Swims seeing quite light brown stuff in the pin at the moment. Generally good to very good quality. Swims been told there is alot of shit going around at the moment though, (in wholesale amounts), and knows many a dealer who have been lumbered with duff stuff.

Did a urine test on Monday at swims drug clinic.......it was positive for benzodiazepines aswell as gear. (Swim hasn't taken a benzo in nearly a year).
The heroin which contained benzos was from Manchester.......and was relatively good gear despite this.

Anyone can repress gear into a block. Swim understands your logic, but knows for a fact that many low-level street dealers sometimes repress their gear into a solid.

Swim too knows of the gear you are talking of, and would love to know what that particular cut is also. Swim hates the frosty gear, and if he receives it he'll generally ask for a refund, as from his experience, 9 times out of 10 it's crap strength.

Pacman go some stuff the other day (that he overdosed on very nearly) that left weird bits of residue in the bottom of the pan. It almost looked like little bits of plastic left in it and it was weird stuff. He still feels shaky about what happened the other day. Not being able to breathe is fucking scary man

Glad to hear SWIY'r OK junk... yeah....i know its not the same as an OD, but SWIM has bad lungs from years of smoking and when he gets bronchitis he is out of breath easily and it is not nice combined with an asthma attack.....but as for the gear around, its hard as a brick, really hard to break it up and is light coloured. it runs great although there is a bit of residue but the gear is well strong!! according to SWIM anyway. he hasnt had any bad gear now for a long time and is happy things are properly back to normal

swim lives just in the next town virtually to brownstreakrailroad and yet swim has been getting gear in powder form now for months at least.some of swims jugglers only buy if it's powder.but 6 or 7 years ago all swimmers wanted gear in rock form,cos in them days the powdered gear was normally shit.although swim can only speak of south brum really.swim remembers a tv program of some small time jugglers from nottingham who after cutting the gear they compressed it back to rock form cos that's what swimmers wanted,that was about 6 or 7 years back.but over the last few years swim has found the really fine powdered gear to be by far the cleaner and stronger.swim once again fell forward and cracked swims head but this time on swims pc desk and now swim has an embarrassing red line across the top of swims head.again this crack on the head did not even wake swim up.there is some seriously strong gear doing the rounds at the moment just to add that swim smokes on the foil and has a big and long habit and gear has never done this to swim before,normally if swim nods off even the sound of the foil hitting the floor will wake swim.

That sounds quite alot like benzo-infused gear.

Not that I'm saying it definitly is, but all the same, be careful as there is benzo-cut heroin doing the rounds at the moment.
Especially in Manchester area.

The powder heroin comes in blocks too it has just broken down so to say powder heroin is stronger than in rock form is a bit strange. It is only in rock because it has been compressed together.

swim is willing to bow to better judgement but swim can't remember the last time swim had gear in rock form,and certainly can't remember when swim had gear in rock form that scabbed up on the foil.swim meaning a proper scab that can be burned out and then return again.as for the benzos swim knows swimmers on scripts that do not use benzos but have been testing positive for benzos on and off for years.

thinking about it though swim remembers when rocky gear was on the streets of brum it usually left dirty black lines on the foil and swim had to pick the beetle off and put it onto a fresh plate cos swims beetle would go further on a fresh plate.whereas swim can run this powdered gear up and down the plate and back over the same lines without having to change the plate.one thing swim has learned over the years though is 99% of the time,if swim wants the best gear swim will only buy off one race of people,and if that race of people arn't the ones juggling in town chances are the gear will be shit.

SWIM's mainly been getting the light browny colour. All in a rock. Not top quality, not completely poor. Does the job.

SWIM says the dark stuff that goes about is crap on the foil, but very strong in the pin.

SWIM who gets in Brum has been getting some pretty nice stuff for quite a while now, it's a fairly light powder, seems to cook up pretty dark, but this could be because SWIM has been putting far too much in her hits lately...seems to be a lot cleaner than some stuff SWIM had in the past.

The stuff SWIM was getting last autumn/ winter ranged from being absolutely abysmal crap that blocked yr pin straight away, to some excellent stuff that cooked up like treacle, but hit the spot nicely....

SWIM is broke today so on the green, and talking about this isn't helping the hours go by any faster til she can go off in the morning, so SWIM is going to shut up and go to bed now!

My pet had a mix of both light and dark stuff on a wee week long binge he had recently, the dark stuff was deffo better! But he only had that once or twice, the lighter stuff was more prevalent.

One night when he just got some of this dark stuff, his friend unwrapped it and there was this blob of brown gloop on it! He's never seen that before, any swimmers know what the hell that could have been?
He put the brown gloop to one side and didn't touch it.
Though the gear that the gloop was attached to was absolutely lovely he said.

My pet was thinking that maybe this wee blob of brown gloop was maybe a bit of opium that had escaped being processed.
Though that's not very likely, is it?

So what colour is benzo gear? Swim is on the foil, would the benzo's be active by smoking, or is this an effect granted by the pin? Damn, some of the best stuff swim ever had was before the drought, that stuff was so good, one bag was brilliant, and two a real treat! Wish people would quit messing about with our stuff and leave the Benzos and cutting agents out. Grrrr!
