Opinions - Oxycodone vs. Oxymorphone--anybody have any experience?

Swivy has been considering changing to Oxymorphone as her pain doc wanted her to try it, but Swiv went with morphine for cost reasons. Swiv is disappointed with morphine (it sucks for her pain control! ) and is debating which would be better: going back on the oxycodone she was on before the switch to M (she switched due to oxy shortages here in her state and for cost--at the time she was broke and nearly without health coverage) or going on the oxymorphone her pain doc suggests (which is 50 dollars per copay for each bottle).

Do any SWIMmers out there have an opinion based on experience? Without her chitosan, the MSIR and MSContin seem so lame for pain control and for feeling nice too. The codone is a pain in the ass to find sometimes since the pharmacies keep runnng out, and morphone is expensive. What would SWIM do if SWIM was in Swivy's position?
Any advice would be awesome!
