Grinders - Hand Grinders Vs Chopping Boards

Swim didn't know if this topic had been brought up before so apologies if it has.

Swim uses a chopping board to grind his weed with and after using it since christmas he wouldn't want to use anything else. swim realises that it's only ideal as long as it remains on the coffee table in the living room. it can't be taken out. it isn't small (tho it was suprisingly cheap, less than £25) and it doesn't collect pollen but on the other hand it just FEELS so much better to grind your smoke up with a hand blade on a wooden surface. Swim is trying to think of the right way to describe it but can't. It just feels more natural and its very theraputic and your not limited to the capacity of a grinder for how much weed you can grind. If swim is on the move he just pre grinds the amount he is taking out with him before hand. All of swims friends swear by their own grinders but when they all come round they're all fighting for turns on who gets to use swims chopping board first. Swim feels the love

Personally, SWIM would always go for a grinder. They're just more convenient and are probably better for smaller amounts. But then again, shredding through an ounce with one of those motherfuckers would probably be a bit of fun. It also doubles as a pretty vicious weapon should one be ultra violently-inclined. Heck, you could even use it in the kitchen chopping up veggies for a nice stew.

SWIM has a grinder but finds he can cut up his herb finer if he uses egg cup and scissors, although if cutting up large amounts this can be tiresome for him and it can take a while if you put too much in at a time.

My Cat told me she always used the old Moulinex "moulinette" for grinding her weed. She feels that she isn´t just getting the optimal cut weed after nearly 10 seconds, she also has the chance to take all the pollen out of the machine. She told me that she could make nearly 1 gram of finest hash from 10 gram Cream Cheese being chopped. So for my cat there´s nothing like the moulinex with double features ^^.

Sorry man but broken up chron is broken up chron. Break it up how you want. The advantages of getting a grinder would be that it's easier and that you can collect kief so long as SWIY purchases a grinder with a kief catcher. In SWIM's experience, he would definitely choose a metal grinder with a kief catcher over chopping weed with a knife on a cutting board. This is just SWIM's professional opinion.

Nice piece of kit but SWIM much prefers a deep bowl and some scissors.

yeah SWIM loves scissors too....they work the best imho. SWIY get more control with scissors than a chop board, but they are cool though these blades and boards, but again for portability, scissors take it...SWIM likes the conveniance of grinders but the plastic ones SWIM hates the noise of the grind and it almost sounds like SWIY'r grinding up the plastic!! go for a metal one with pollen catcher.
